I like flower smells, especially fresh flowers (If I were rich I would have flowers delivered to myself every single day and just cover my house in them). Orchids and roses are my favorites, but mostly it's the 'green' smell.

i have to be careful with scents, both on myself and those around me as they can give me migraines. however, as a list;

horses around their muzzle and hide. a rich dust and grass smell. lovely.
leather
fire and fireworks
autumn
old woodland
the earth after it's been dry for ages and it just starts to rain.
the sea.
books. especially the ones i borrow from him. they smell of him and his place and i love that.

on Him;
patchouli
patchouli patch, very expencive but smells damn good on him.
the one by D+G is devine but sadly he's run out.
amber leaf. this is a bit of a strange one for me as a none smoker as usually i hate the smell of smoke, but this just smells good. mixed with leather and patchouli does wonderful things to me.

on me;
cerruti 1881
coco channel
tutu (based on coco but miles cheaper so worn as an everyday scent)
beverly hills
obsession (i also like the aftershave)
eternity (i prefer the aftershave)
and of course i love the smell of us on me. i'm not one who wants to jump up and shower straight away afterwards. i like to lay and be able to smell us for quite a while.

needles

I like Shalamar perfume and Ciara too.
My place smells like catshit and cigars.

One of my favorite scents is from a Japanese Magnolia blossom.

I love that smell of wood burning in the fireplaces, it always makes me think of home.

Baby lotion and powder, and baby shampoo are favorite scents.

Freshly cleaned laundry

earth, pine trees, the ocean;  all favorite scents

I don't usually wear perfumes, they give me a headache, but I do like to wear lotions that are lightly scented.

I like my house to smell clean.  I really like the way the house smells after everything is wiped down and the kitchen counters are bleached and the wood is polished.  Clean has a really satisfying scent.

I have several gardenias strategically planted near some of my windows,
so when the weather permits, I can simply open the windows and be engulfed
by their soft yet crisp aroma. It reminds me of fresh linens.

I am also a huge fan of Circle E candles, with Bird of Paradise being my favorite.
They have one in leather scent too.

Edited to add - I love the smell of a pipe. Preferably from a man in a smoking jacket.
I have a couple Gardenias outside my guest bedroom windows (south exposure). and next to my screened-in porch; I love those... they've survived 18F freezes.

I built an arbor over my front door (think there's a pic on my FL profile) and planted a Madison (star) Jasmine about 15 years ago. It's right under the master BR bath window. Liked it so much I had a wrought iron rose arch made and planted another one at my walkway steps. I've also got a Florida Anise, Snowflake Viburnum, Rosemary, Witch Hazel, a couple aromatic Hostas, and a couple Tropicana roses (faint scent but I love the color).

I make candles, and I used to make soaps, so I have all kinds of essential oils (soaps) and fragrances (candles). I'd have to say my favorite is Vanilla. Lavender is another favorite. I like the citruses (esp. Tangerine)(except for grapefruit, which I prefer the taste of better), eucalyptus, cinnamon, sandalwood, patchouli, geranium, cedar, amber, chamomile, jasmine, and rose.

Other scents I like: Fresh-baked French bread; Pinot Noir; Cucumber; Freshly-scrubbed woman; ocean breezes; pine; ginger; Weihenstephan Hefeweiss beer; chocolate; Lapsang Suchong tea; roasted sweet corn; cardamom; Dr. Bronner's Peppermint soap; coconut; MJ; apple pie, Nag Champa incense; and the aroma of certain female pheromones - not subliminal AT ALL.

Forgot the wood fires. Agree best in cool weather.

I forgot Gardenias, jasmine and hyacinth.  I think hyacinth is one of my favorites.
Sage, thyme, lavender, mint are all things I love to have in the garden.  Especially when it comes time to cut and hang them to dry.  Yummy!

Oh!  Lily of the Valley is another of my favorites.

I also like the smell of pipe tobacco too.  I hate the smell of cigarettes, but pipe tobacco is nice.  My father smoked a pipe when I was a kid, and pipe tobacco smells like warm hugs and deep laughter to me.

Here in Michigan, at the very first hint of spring, there is always a faint scent of skunk in the air that I like.  Weird, I know, but there's something very earthy and promising about that scent.  Not so much when the hound comes home smelling of it, but a faint scent in the air, nice.

I love to burn resinous incenses, like dammar and frankincense, in my apartment. On my body, I like cedar. When I'm outdoors nothing beats rich, freshly tilled soil.
