I don't particularly care for body art either, although I've seen some beautifully done tattoos on people.
I honestly think the human body is such a natural piece of art on its own, that it needs no additions.

As for piercings, they tend to become a distraction for me when I am attempting to make eye contact with someone.

If, however, you are a person who indulges in body art, it certainly wouldn't make me treat you any differently than if you didn't have any. (Smiles)

I have to say that I like tats that are done well. They're sexy, but so is bare skin ;) I'm okay with a guy having ears pierced, not so much into the face and/or body piercings. I do have to say that since I got my tat I notice them alot more than I used to and find them sexier than I did. Kinda odd but there it is....
