Just got one,and I love it...but I'm not so tech savy...so anyone with some experience who can tell me cool things I can do with it(and how to) will have my undying appreciation ;-)

Well, I don't have the latest Iphone, but apparently Siri (or whatever it is called) is pretty cool.  You could ask her the meaning of life, or where to dispose of a dead body.  She apparently has all the answers.  Don't ask her where you can get an abortion, though.
Seriously, I love my Iphone.  It replaces a number of other devices in my life.  Some of my favorite and most useful apps are Flashlight, Amazon Price check (let's you check prices at other places by scanning a barcode) and the voice activated GPS.  In addition to all the usual stuff, like Facebook, urbanspoon, and various specific apps.  Be sure and get a scanner app so that you can read qcodes.  They are extremely useful and becoming more common.

i wish you asked before you buy mike,
personally i find the iphone crap, after i tested the Samsung Galaxy S, (Android),
did actually throu my 2G-Iphone in the carbage after that

first thing you need is Itunes, go to apple.come & download it from there
from there you can search for APPZ, Games etc,

& you can install "cracked games & APPZ" but you have to do some technical stuff first. "we will talk about that later"
& from the I tunes you can arrange some music in the Ipod or photos, Vids....

WARNING: if you have alredy softweare from the company "Network" you will loos them when you sync your phone with Itunes.
however its 100% impossible to record calls on the "Iphone".

sorry Mike, but had to tell you the bad stuff first,
anything more feel free to ask

personally all apple Products sucks ass,
that because anything they make must operate on "mac, itunes" = their own creation,
even their own operating system suck ass.

dont get me started on their own manufacturing, by "Foxconn ®" in China,

1- install Itunes.
2- open Itunes.
3- watch the "Instructional" after it was installed.

3-1- go to music in Itunes,
3-2- drag & drop your music into the "Music section"

4- connect your Iphone to the PC.
5- Sync your Music to the Iphone.
6- Enjoy

I have an Android.

It randomly decides to lose incoming and outgoing text messages.

That must mean that the Apple iPhones eventually self-destruct.

I've decided to downgrade my next phone and make a conscious attempt to disconnect.
To use it only as a phone and only receive text messages from Shorey and my girls.
I have a blackberry now. Have no desire for a smart phone.
I watch people sitting in the same room talking to each other through text.
That's just fucked up.

I have direct orders from Shorey to only have my phone set on phone calls only.
No beep to let me know that an email has hit the inbox.
No beep to let me know that a text arrived.
No internet while in the car. I listen to music really fucking loud instead.

Life is much more relaxed.

Hahahaha.
I feel sorry my kids generation. They don't know what it's like to just run outside and play.
Everything is prearranged as a "playdate".

I was a kid in the 70's and a teen in the 80's. I wouldn't trade that for anything.
No cell phones. No internet. Just real life.
People actually interacted face to face with people.

And if this existed back in the 70's and 80's you would've been all over it just as kids today are.

one cool thing about the iphone is that you can take a picture of the screen (whatever is on it) .. Just hold the bottom button and the top right together and voila!!!!!

if it has 2.3.4 or 2.3.5 running with no "force close",
then wait untill the 4.0.3 is ON upgrade the softwere & then we shall see,
15 Feb, i think it would be relesed.
