cash, that's mostly it. anything between £70,000 and as much over it as i could have would be great. if i could have huge amounts i'd be able to have the farm i've always wanted along wit my own hermit.

failing that; i really don't know. the thing is i rarely do know when asked.

i've had some lovely gifts over the last year and none of them are something i'd have bought myself except for a pocket watch.

i think it would probably have to be books though if anything. i'd love a copy of CLASSICAL PRINCIPLES OF THE ART OF TRAINING HORSES By Nuno Oliveira in english. it's a book i've wanted for years but never think of getting.

maybe another bonsai tree if i could find one i like lol i'd actually love for my playmate and i to get to a bonsai show this year if we could.

other than that, unless it's something i happen to have mentioned in passing i guess anyone asking would get the same answer as always.....nothing.

My wish list, lol.

I want floor to ceiling book cases in three rooms. My boy is making them for me, as we slowly cough up the money month by month for all that lumber. (I like the good, solid stuff.) One room down and two more to go, yay! Two rooms are for my massive DVD and VHS tapes collection, oh, and my board games (have over sixty) and puzzles. The third room is for my books. I used to homeschool, if that gives you any idea of the hundreds of books...

My other wishlist is quite modest. See, years ago when I used to date in vanilla...nobody I was with got me anything for Valentine's Day. This year is different. My slave is also my boyfriend and I've spelled out quite clearly what he is to bring to me. Some crazy flowers from Walmart that are died cyan blue, green, pink, all that jazz, some card that talks to his heart and how he feels for me, the candy part...I want a goofy/sappy/cutesie lollipop, the kind that is made of some gummi type stuff and decorated with frosting, AND...a bondage furniture book, lol. (My boy does good with carpentry, we have a beautiful padded black and blue cross already.)

Other things are on my wish list that I will get for myself eventually. I am very greedy when it comes to books and seasons on DVD.

A quick lease or a quick sale.
Zero-calorie licorice allsorts.
Lifetime supply of Crispin "Stagger Lee" hard cider.
Every upgrade Renntech has for Sadie.
Sonor X-ray Kit with mostly Zildjian A Customs, heads to be determined by listening, and 5A Vic Firth sticks, mic'd w/ PA w/reverb. And groupies to set up/tear down.
A pair of Linkwitz "Orion" speakers
Low-cost Single-Payer health insurance and inexpensive meds.

For now.

I wouldn't have had as big an issue with the corset from Martha's if my attempts to get any response from them whatsoever were completely ignored. For $300 at least respond to the email!

I've got a underbust leather one i paid $140 for from shaper that is awesome.. i wear it constantly, and its in impeccable shape after more than a year...

Since we are pointlessly wishing, and it's snowing outside... I want a red shearling coat. I always used to have a red coat for the winter (to find my body in the snow, right?) and haven't had a colored coat for years. Look into the family coat closet and it's a sea of blackness. What happened? I want a bright coat that's not a puffy coat. Though even my puffy coat is black.

We are NOT pointlessly wishing! We are verbalizing what are in most cases quite realistic desires. Pay attention to what you're saying here. If it means enough to you to post on a message board, perhaps it means enough to you to start working on achieving it.

I know my own desire for bookshelves likely has to do with my feeling disorganized and my desire to enroll in some classes.

Your desire to have a bright red coat may have something to do with a desire for brightness, or it may be symbolic of "something different."

Come on, people. Am I the only one who smoked a little ganja with breakfast this morning?* Where's your enlightenment?

(Just kidding. I didn't eat breakfast yet.)

Actually, Kaliko, I WANT A BRIGHT COAT!! The "pointless" part is that if I get said coat, it will be at the clearance when I don't need to wear it anymore. But I look at my MANY coats, and cannot justify buying another one. I do have brightly colored caps, so I Make Do.
