ORIGINAL: crazyml I've always shuddered at the concept of the "Pay pig". It bothers me more than a lot of other things. At the heart of it is the question "who the fuck would be that stupid, that weak, that pathetic that they'd hand over money to a complete stranger in return for absolutely nothing? I used to give money to panhandlers when I was younger, but not anymore. Even those who would carry signs that say "Why lie? I need a beer," sometimes I would give them money just because they were being honest. But my philosophy on that has since changed. I'm kind of a sucker for hard luck stories, too, and my main job is that of a social worker, which doesn't really pay that much anyway. If someone says they need groceries or diapers for their baby or cat food, I can sometimes spare a few bucks, but nowhere near the amounts these so-called "pay pigs" seem to be paying. They must be in a completely different income bracket, so if they can afford it and they're happy, good luck to 'em. Some of them might be thinking or hoping that they might get more out of the deal someday, as some of the findomme profiles hint at such a possibility.
