If the Republicans are taking a more socially conservative approach to when sex enters a relationship, rather than striking out a lot because they are such awful people, they are going to be having more meaningful sex when they get it.

There is going to be a definite religious component as well. Those women who grew up in the despised Fundie base, raised to believe sex was dirty, often turn into amazingly dirty girls, once the barriers are broken down. I have a preacher's daughter, myself. [:D]

Why would you assume more often means casual or lacking a mental connection? I am extremely selective in who I have sex with. Maybe its just that liberals dont have the hang ups about sex... nor the need to lie about it. [;)]

Course we can. In fact, my neighbor Gail... who's married to a real wing nut (regular caller to the Jay Severin show), after about a 12-pack said at a cookout this summer that she has to "get the nerve up to have sex with Mike".
