ORIGINAL: Trismagistus I cannot personally validate the legitimacy of this claim, I do intend to smack people in the face with it at every opportunity however. You might want to read it first. It reminds me a bit of the study Dems were trumpeting over for a bit, about college grads being more likely to be Democrats. They were having loads of fun until the conservatives started pointing out that high school dropouts were also more likely to be Democrats, while people who finished high school, or went on to a Masters or PhD trended Republican. What this study says is that people who latch onto prejudice and bigotry are more likely to be dumb. There are plenty of prejudiced morons on the D side. Heretic, man, I totally already tossed it back in the face of the first person who quoted me that I was being sarcastic, no one has a monopoly on truth and there are voices of reason on both sides, sadly none of them get heard on either, the democrats tend to lie and say everything is alright until they aren't in power and the republicans want you to believe they're defending freedom while doing everything in their power to make money at the cost of visibility, democrats are just as guilty of that last offense as well. I don't even really believe two parties actually exist within our government beyond what they want everyone to see to make it look like they're doing their job. If I really wanted to sit here and wax intellectual on the issue I could pull up horrible crap both sides do while somehow miraculously keeping their constituents from objecting loudly enough to change things, but that would be insulting to everyone here, even me considering I used to vote for offices (I still vote on policy on the rare occasion a local issue comes up and I still put in senatorial votes but, there have been confessions by the people that write the electoral booth voting and sorting software that it's all rigged anyway.) but, honestly I think the best thing we can do is try to wake people up to the basic truth that anyone who tries to take power over you that you don't personally know and trust should be tarred and feathered then run out of town, possibly on the end of a bayonet if they object loudly enough.
