Status: offline 		i'm new 2 this lifestyle and sort of lost and was wondering how sum1 finds a mentor to help with learning the ropes.  i have read some incredible books on the subject but feel as sum1 with real life experience may be of more help then a book

Status: offline 		Google BDSM and your state.  You could also google BDSM munches and your state.  You could also go to the FAQs here to get a link to BDSM munches, groups, meets, and events in your state.  Then go attend a munch or several if there are more than one close by.  Make friends.  Watch the people.  Figure out which people you admire.  Then ask one of them if he/she would mentor you.

I work in the entertainment business and have a high profile job that requires a lot of contact with people via Twitter that only gives a person 140 characters to say what they need to say.  I now natrually write everywhere in "twitter speak".  Amazing that people take offense to such trivial things.

And if you just want to tell everyone to fuck off because someone corrected your spelling ... you need to build a thicker skin to deal in forums.. any forum in fact.

Oh I am sorry, I didn't view my giving you advice that you asked for, politely and nicely as "disrespect".

Way to isolate yourself. Maybe along with being snarky and rude you need to look at being polite to the people that tried to help you.

It's just a shame that it had to be pointed out that people DID try to help you before you went for the polite option.
If you always address the negatives in life first it will come accross.
