A lot depends on your body, but in general I do think it can be learned. I got interested in it about 12 yrs ago when I read a how to. My partner and I tried for months! Different positions, different types of stimulation, and a lot of fun frustration. Fortunately we did have fun with it and while it would have been great if it had happened right away, the journey and discovery was something that I'll always treasure. It was very intimate and we laughed when it didn't happen instead of making it this goal of 'must have'. We were both completely content if it never happened but it sure was fun to try! Then one day on an air mattress, after much mental and physical tease and build up - everything clicked. Of course, once we figured it out it was like.. well duh! LOL For me it is different than a regular orgasm and I can't NOT squirt now. It's often tied to my orgasms in that my orgasms are stronger after I have squirted and I'll often go back and forth in a continuous loop of sensation, one right after the other when there is sufficient stimulation. For me there has to be a certain amount of mental stimulation along with the physical, and the fastest way to get it going is with both external and shallow internal stimulation, fingers in the come hither motion along with clit stim and pop! Although, now I can pretty much do it on demand with just a thought. While it would be nice to be able to not do it sometimes, I like the sensation overload enough that I just roll with it. I know people have mentioned fisting and whatnot. I've never done that and honestly, bigger is not better for trying to make this happen...at least not for me. A finger, a thumb, shallow thrusts, or just someone hitting the right spot on the down or up swing work just fine. I could see how fisting would work though, as the space is filled and it would be difficult to not hit the right spot. I would suggest researching it together with your partner and then play, play, play. If it happens, great. If it doesn't, just have fun with it and enjoy the intimacy.
