The only time we wear shoes around here is if we're going somewhere. When I was a kid, Mama didn't make us wear them then. Of course, after we burned our feet a few times on hot concrete or asphalt parking lots, we decided they weren't so bad. I take mine off at work a lot of times. I've waded beaches, floods, rivers, creeks and streams in my naked feet. I've swam in pools that were fed by artesian springs and not chlorinated. I figure if I'd have died by now if goin' barefoot was all that life threatening.

Mmmmm when I think about the warm pond scum oooozing up between them as I wade out on a hot summer afternoon.... When I was young and running barefoot throught the fields of fresh hot cowpies..... Seaweed slipping and tickling between them as I frolick in the blue Pacific.... Looking at toe cleavage???? hohum...... Experiencing the toe cleavage.......ahhhhhhh!!!!!!!!
