The Mister has a 42" Visio and it's awesome. We did a lot of shopping and comparing specs between various brands and models before he bought it. The "Dynamic Contrast Ratio," "Pixel Response Time" and "Motion Resolution" were far better than most others in the price range he was looking at ($600 - $900). I put a comparison spreadsheet together, because that's how I roll, lol. The motion resolution and overall resolution is so good it took getting used to, because things seem so real and 3D-like. I've actually never seen a better picture, before or since.
