Okay, this is pure bitch, so feel free to by-pass it and go on to a thread that isn't a bitch! Himself bought a new tv right before Xmas, but once the Giants got into the NFC Championship game, he determined that the tv was too small so we took it in and exchanged it for a larger one the day before the game. It's a Visio, 37" and has been working perfectly.. until today when it just wouldn't turn on. At first I thought it was just the battery in the remote but it won't turn on manually either so when Himself gets home from work, he's going to pack it up and take it back. So that's my bitch. $1000 tv that lasted only a few weeks and was actually rarely turned on until Himself got home from work every night. He is not happy. I'm hoping that meeting him at the door wearing my cute pink cami and boy shorts will at least make him smile when he gets home. If it does.. maybe we won't take the tv back until tomorrow. [;)] This could turn into a win.. if not for the tv, then for the two of us. No worries, I will NOT let you know how it all turns out. [:D] Feel free to post your bitch here. I'm hoping that, one way or another, I'll be too busy to read it!

At the moment I am only bitching about the FREAKIN TAX SOFTWARE which was coded by gnomes! Overall it's a good program, and heaven knows their customer service is excellent but seriously!! GAH!

For the record, I agree. The tv is way overpriced.. especially since it doesn't work!

Since its only a few weeks old you should be able to get a refund and take the opportunity to find a better deal, unless it has a picture you and "himself" particularly like since not all 37" TV's are born equal!

You can buy Visio 37" LCD TV's for $500 to $600.

I ended up buying a Sanyo and I love it. Very good picture but the thing that makes it stand apart from the other brands was the excellent sound quality. Agree with you on the price. One grand for a 37" LCD TV is almost criminal.

Get your next tv from Costco. The warranty is automatically extended to two years, and you can buy a four year warranty for less than $100.00 (if I remember correctly) Plus their return policy rocks!
