the moderation at this site has chafed me a bit. i could linger and be a bad sport, or simply say "goodbye" because i'm irritated. there are several really entertaining posters here who i will miss to the extent one can miss internet strangers. good luck to everybody, including the site owners and mods. i hope you manage to realize your vision of making what is left of this website into what you want it to be. this is a pretty good place to waste time, because the user base is still good, but it's honestly lagging farther and farther behind in every other respect to another site i am far too classy to name on these forums which also has a larger and more diverse user base. at this point this site needs new blood a lot more than i need this site. :D good luck everyone.

Poor guy can't even post a I'm leaving because of moderation thread w/o being moderated and having the thread moved. I have nothing against him and have enjoyed some of his posts. But maybe reading the directions would avoid forcing the mods to mop up after him?
