Eww.

I watch a lot of different sources and viewpoints. Distill the bullshit and spin out to get at the facts and then make up my own mind.

I realize that's a downright scarey approach but I have this wierd habit of not thinking what I'm told to think or doing what I'm told to do.

That's for subs.[8D]

It appears that some of our Right of Center posters feel that since the Pentagon released the info, FOX was duty bound to report it.

Does this mean that FOX is now the 'mouthpiece' for the pentagon?

Fox has always been the mouthpiece for the pentagon...and Wall Street...and Big Oil...and the NRA....among others.

But i can't find any posts claiming Fox was duty bound to report it. Have they been deleted?

No answer, Hillwilliam? Cuz...it seemed like an odd claim, so I'm curious.

I think this is probably, as a couple of people have said, a little "shot across the bow" to Iran.

If this were the result of "un-named pentagon sources" or "high/mid level administration sources" (In other words; not part of a press release for the general public), I'd say that it bordered on irresponsible journalism.

Let's face it, this does not rise to the level of a Geraldo Rivera drawing a map for Iraqis. While I believe that may have been just a totally dip-shit, absent-minded blunder, it was irresponsible at best and treasonous at worst.

Peace and comfort,

Michael

Waitaminute. I thought that the left has been saying that Iran is perfectly peaceful and only wants nukes for power generation. Are you saying that this is not so?

This leftie thinks that is bullshit.

opinions on whether it was irresponsible or not

Depends on the source of the news. Pentagon press release = not irresponsible.
