I should have added "for me" after my statements :) I don't buy best sellers anyway....don't really even read them on a regular basis. I think the last best seller I read was The DaVinci Code, so that gives you an idea of the last time I read one, lol. I don't buy any books full price, I borrow from the library or pick them up at yard sales, flea markets and used book stores. So, for me, I'm paying $79 to "save" money I wouldn't have spent in the first place, lol. See what I mean? And I agree with the shipping, to a degree, but I almost never buy from Amazon directly unless I'm buying things that cost more than $25 to qualify for the free "Super Saver" shipping. The free Prime shipping is two-day shipping, which is great, but if I find the product from a vendor priced at $50 less than Amazon, and just wait another day or three for it to arrive, I still save a lot more money, as opposed to paying $79 and then paying a higher price for the product, just to say the shipping was free and have it arrive in two days. I'm not saying the whole Prime package is bad, I just don't foresee it really being that beneficial for MY lifestyle, but it sounds like it works great for yours :) I will, however, probably be taking advantage of the free trial this month and buying those heavy items I want, like the Kitchenaid mixer in lime green
