Tazzy, this is soooooo easy.

Your memory card is incompatible with your video accelerator.

Secondly (and probably more importantly) the Everex Impact Series unit will always have cross links with your 9Ex DDI.

When those crosslinks become impacted....well....let me just say....the shit hits the fan.

(Everyone knows this shit).

You can go to this list:

http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/startups/

There you can look up every program that is
starting and see what it does.  Then keep just
the necessary ones checked.

Unchecking a program from the list will not delete it
from your computer, it will just prevent it from starting
up automatically every time you boot up.  So it will
not use up your resources when you are not using it.

ShaharThorne -> RE: PC HELP!!! (2/22/2012 9:38:31 PM)

Too many applications running at the same time and you got Vista. Vista is known for being a POS OS. Bo has Vista and I am threatening to trash his computer or run it in to a tech to get 7 installed with a memory upgrade. Lizard has XP on her computer and tolerates it pretty well.

As for me, I got Windows 7, with a standard graphics cards but I don't do gaming. I mainly cruise the net, play on Pogo and wreak havoc on the Polls (after flipping off some subs who do not know how to read profiles). I also don't have too many things running in the background, which is what is causing your computer to slow down.

I am not a fan of superantispyware, but for the moment........

now do the services tab same place
I'm a malwarebytes man, myself. C(rap)Cleaner is indispensible.
NT Registry Optimizer FAQ (covers Vista)
http://www.larshederer.homepage.t-online.de/erunt/faq.htm

I'm stickin' with XP.
