Hey, im a submissive male wondering what y'all might think of gags. A in favorites and why. Which do you find most restrictive? Best to keep your slave silent? I love being gagged and just wondering what everyone might think is the best kind

I like my bit gag best because i can really bite into it. The next day I really pay for it though with a very sore jaw.

Personally, I am fond of using an inflatable penis gag that has a breathing tube in it. I originally got it to be funny simply because it looks ridiculous. Turns out it is really quite fun and versatile to use. I had to modify it as the rubber strap on it was too cheap to stand up to any real play, but inserted into a large ring gag it works quite well. I use a few extra pumps to enlarge it for correction purposes. The tube is great for breath control. I've even had a slave drinking out of a dog bowl with it like a straw. It really has become my go to gag.

I have never understood gags as there are better ways to keep a mouth busy :)

I'm curious as to whether TS has actually ever been gagged before. Because it's nothing like one would imagine. The first (and only) time I was gagged I nearly drowned in my own saliva and there was drool everywhere.

The only way they keep you silent is if they totally close off air flow. And then you die. They muffle sound somewhat so you can make noises but not clearly identifiable words. Personally I prefer a ball gag. I can bite down on it to give my jaw a break or let my mouth stay totally open. I can move it slightly backwards and forward which lets me swallow the saliva and also eases my jaw.

I've only tried a few gags, ball, bit and ring. My favourite I guess is the bit gag as it's the only one I can't spit out through manipulating it with my tongue and jaw. I like the sensation of the ball gag, I only have a simple one - I want to try one of the head harness type ones to see if that can stop me removing it myself lol I'd love to try one of the inflatable gags too...

With a little bit of creativity (and sometimes some internet help/verification) you can make a "gag" out of alot of things. In the past I've used on my partners (clean) clothing such as socks, underwear, stockings, etc... Sometimes food can work too, such as small enough apples and oranges or have them suck on a cucumber for a while. Even some household objects can be used as fun gags, so play around a little bit but make sure to be safe about it. Not painfully large, and mind any sharp edges. Personal fave is plug-able ring gags though. Never has so much been able to be done with so little.

It's a full bridle with bit for me, it's the only one i cant push out but yet is comfotable to wear for long periods.

I have never tried a gag. My Master doesn't really like the aesthetic of most of them, and I have a pretty sensitive gag reflex...not fun. But I do like the idea of having my jaw restrained/speech muffled or prevented. Thus, I have been looking into human muzzles. I'd like to give that a try, though I cannot find too many different ones and my Master doesn't quite like the designs of the ones available (he's real picky about it, not liking this small aspect or that detail, etc.,) so he has decided to custom make one for me himself, because he likes the concept. I am rather looking forward to that. Not sure that quite counts as a "gag" though, by definition.

I suggest March Hare wanders around for the next hour with a sock tied in his mouth. Your mouth and throat are totally dry and you start coughing. I'd rather drool than be bone dry.

In the past I've been a big fan of using ball gags on my partner, with the occasional ring gag thrown in for good measure. I've been eyeing a bit gag replete with harness, though the inflatable penis gag Thaelog mentioned sounds quite entertaining. In the end though, I would say a ball gag is still hands down my favorite, just because I plied my first partner with that one, so it's kind of like having a fond memory. [;)] -N.

Love/hate gags. First experience was ball gag, but however tight i can always push em forward to mumble something. Bit gags are pretty useless as gags. Stuffing stuff in the mouth can be effective. Real love/hate thing is with penis gags. More or less impossible to 'push' out, especially if a hood is added, make droll as it's harder to swallow saliva and just great/hellish. i tend to be a 'vocal' sub. Having my speech (smart ass comments) restricted does my head in.

(Lightly used, I mean, not muddy or anything unsanitary like that.) There's something hotly degrading about being gagged with with your used underwear. At least, I think so..... [;)]

Aesthetically I like the bit. Or the ring, depending on how comfy you can get it. For actual noise issues, a towel or a hand over mouth and nose is a lot better at muffling, and a lot less likely to cause discomfort later.
