That was the closest my research could find. I did learn that birds can fly almost twice as fast as their normal speed for short distances, which makes accurate records of bird speeds difficult to determine.
I'd guess the speed would be in the 27-30 mph range.

As for hijacking the thread, if I have any control, it should definitely be about boobies!!!
(and I don't mean the type of bird).
Of course, lacking boobies of my own, I am forced to rely on the generosity of the lovely and wonderfully nice ladies...

Lance was once married to (as we say in my "community").... to a "real" girl. WOW! We lived together a couple of years and then were married for just over a year. Why the divorice? NOT what you think...... any-who....

Funny thing...... she was a professionally trained ballerina. Boobs? Not very much in that department. However, when she auditioned for the Bolshoi Ballet School, she had high enough marks to get accepted, but ..... and you know where this is going .... her breasts were too large. Well, let me tell you, that woman could (and did) move her body as only a ......... er, um........ there's a word I'm looking for...... oh, yeah..... That woman can and DID move her body as only a ballerina could.

And me, the innocent.... she was only the 2nd person I had had sex with at that point. (The other person was a woman who popped my cherry on my 21st birthday while I was a Peace Corps Volunteer.)

I was in a local ice rink one. In the stands, not on the ice. I was wearing a strapless bra. It had started to bother me (as most bras do) so while I was just sitting there for the hour or so that I was, I unhooked the back of it.

I had forgotten I did that, and my sister and I got up later to walk around the lobby. Within a few minutes, a man tapped me on the shoulder. I turned around and, with his friends trying unsuccessfully to hold back their laughter, he handed me my bra and said "Miss...um...you dropped this."

It was great.

edit to note that ice rinks are generally cold, which does wonderful things to nipples...

I'm thinking of starting a crusade. The ever diminishing self-esteem of my female friends and relatives is starting to piss me off. I worry about what we're teaching our daughters.

my legs aren't as.... muscular? they have a bit more softness to them, but still defined.

(I think.. it's been years since I actually have been able to actually see my legs from an outside POV).

I'm going to a function on the 10th. I'll ask the photog there if he will do a few pics, just so I can get some updated ones.
