Hi everyone,

I am brand new to the site, and fairly new to the BDSM lifestyle. I am not sure how to find what I am looking for, and still a little unsure of some etiqutte. I dated a lady for a short period of time and she introduced me to the lifestyle, while we are no longer together I would truly love to find a submissive woman to spend time with. I guess I just want to say hi, and I looking forward to getting to know you all better in the future.

I'm going to suggest that you get out and meet your local community. Also, I think you might benefit from having a mentor to help guide you.

Oside, thanks, dont mean to sound ignorant, but how does one go about finding a mentor, or finding out more about my local BDSM community. Finding this site was the only advice ive gotten so far as to where to find locals in the lifestyle.

You're far from ignorant. It can be difficult to navigate the communities at first.

I would recommend looking on Fet Life and search Valparaiso. There's a group listed in your area. They have munches and discussion events listed. A munch/social is a meeting at a vanilla venue (restaurant/bar/coffee shop) where you just hang out and meet people.

Get around meet people, make it known that you're looking for a male dominant mentor...and find someone with a style you like.

This person should be able to help guide you through the community and give you some insight into how varying styles of D/s relationships work.
