Why? Assuming that your goal is simply to find a sub, why would you want to do it online? Denver has lots of events. There are several local groups. Scarlet Moons is a spanking party on the third Friday of each month in Aurora. Colorado Whips is a potluck social/whipping party the third Sunday of each month. The R&L parties are held twice a month in north Denver. Skales is a mini-seminar series every Wednesday night. The Sanctuary is the big club. And there are monthly munches in Denver and Longmont. IMO, going to events and meeting people, learning about different kinds of play, and networking to find a sub works better than sending out messages online. That said, you have to be careful about your reputation in the community. Which brings me up to a point about which I'll be as delicate as I can... your profile states that you're 22 years old and run your own company, which is hinted to be an investment firm. While that may actually be true, there are other things about you, such as your writing style and spelling, that make it seem that you may not have the focus and overconfidence I would associate with a successful business owner. Be very careful about your image - it means a lot.

Send nice messages to sub women who look nice to you. Make sure you have read their profile, and try to talk to them about things in their profile to show that a. you cared enough to read their profile, and b. you don't just care about yourself. Also, some doms seem to try the "I like you, so you are now my sub." Judging by how the women talk about that, I don't think it works...

On another note, it is similar to getting to know anybody anywhere, you go through the process of getting to know someone, have done it starting online, in person, etc. Very similar process, there isn't some magic spell here.

The reality is one's profile is an extention of themselves and no one else and is personally subjective and therefore unique to that individual. The reality is DS has no idea and nor does anyone else as to what will work for that individual. The reality is the profile content must represent that individual so it attracts matches to that individual and not DS. The reality is if DS's profile was so successful he would not be posting so much here and instead be taking care of his offline responsibilities. It is getting tiresome to see the same old line "your profile..." when someone is asking for experience that works and not changes to their personal presentation to fit some other Dom's personal tastes. Now, let's be constructive and actually answer the OP. To be successful online one must make contacts. The contacts must be conversational, confident but not demanding much as you would as a man approach a woman in any realtime social engagement, bar, laundrymat, supermarket, party, lifestyle club. The contact must be honest and you must be truely interested in her as a person and it must be reflected in your contact. Approach her in a cmail but do not attempt to run her over with false bravado or by pretending to be something you are not. She is not expecting to meet the perfect dom so don't pretend to be.

It is indeed based in reality and the reality is I do not post very much here because I am busy with my off line engagements with a sub I met here using the experience I related here. I did not do it with a profile I assure you.
