While I got a kick out of being dubbed Gordon Ramsey, I was clearly the only one with any professional experience, as esoteric as that experience has been.

I do at least a few days each month as a volunteer and myself and another Dad actually built and initially planted those wooden beds you see. It's kind of neat because all the little first graders come up and ask if I am D's dad and get all giggly. My daughter is a team leader in the "Book Buddy" reading program and is a big deal to the kindergartners and 1st graders. It's cute.

Why would they be lamb?? There is no prohibition in Islam against beef. They don't eat pork.

On the bright side, Manchester by the Sea has a laid off woman who used to work as an Exec at Oracle cooking the chicken.

I didn't even know my ex had moved up north. Fancy that.

Nah, halal beef is cool . The lad was a shi'ite, not a Hindu.

Hitler Hamburgers?

Not exactly a prohibition. But the terrain is better suited to raising sheep than cattle. So it could be cultural. In addition, the Arab world has traditionally traded with the Hindu world and it makes sense to make dishes that both cultures can eat.

If I remember correctly beef is one of the most expensive meat proteins to produce.
