Ok... so where to begin? Aylee, Jesus H Christ woman. You are a fine piece of work - and I've met you. I know. I know you didn't start this for a compliment, but dang, that coffee cup photo is burned in my brain. Are you a willowy long legged beauty? Nope. But you are ... well let's face it... cute. Yep. Puppy dogs and baby seals and teddy bears got nothing on you as far as the every day. I expect you have a femme fatale in there that would slay a person that only a certain few are lucky enough to see. That, I don't know. Unlucky as ever.... I agree with you about a lot of munch things. I think it is beyond the wiitwd group though. I have felt that way in any number of groups. And honey, I'm not a raving statuesque mindblinding light of elegance myself. I've got my own charm, but honestly for me it's often that the people have no brain cells to rub together. But I digress. Sometimes I think the "loud" part is a kind of adolescent coming out / falling in love experience. People have hidden for a long time, and all of a sudden they don't have to hide or they have a eureka moment and POOF it all explodes. wipes the slime off her face Yeah, don't get too close. There are people who go past that stage and get to a simple comfort level within themselves. The "I got nothing to prove" side of things. They leave 'cause they don't have time for nonsense and posturing. I think that there is a certain JOY that can be found in new folks... it's the stagnant, "I'm still in this stage, and I DARE you to say something" that maybe is le crap. Finally, the body thing. Like it or not, it really is a USA kind of thing. The culture of huge portions (everything is bigger and better, doncha know!) and the me me me thing... get what I want when I want it... I think contributes to this. I'm not completely clear about that one, but I'm thinking about it a lot these days. Anyway, there are good people everywhere. There are crappy people too. People tend to congregate in like minded groups - I know you know... Come congregate with me. I'll show you my teddy... the bear... the negligee... take your pic... I mean pick. [;)] best, sunshine

fuck me! what were you expecting at a munch? A room full of brangelinas waving their MENSA certificates around? You are not a novice so you should know by now that the average bdsmer is either physically, mentally or emotionally not all there. I did my time trying to be in the scene, then I ran away, screaming and crying. Was I as fucked up as the people I had just met? Maybe but I wasn't going to hang around and get sucked in by their very obvious oddness.

OH MY GOD AYLEE. I have been to Wichita KS and YES! I KNOW WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT Believe me, I've seen a lot and I ain't no prude...and the stuff I saw and heard, there isn't enough ear or eye bleach out there. it was so gross....It made me want to swear off BDSM.
