Not sure if this is the right area, or if I should have gone to the health and safety issues forum. My first post, I'm nervous, lol...

I've been around a while. Not a noob, although I sort of feel like it, since I've not found the answers I'm looking for, usually I'm the queen of the internet search. I've asked my mentor, and he's never heard of my issue either. So, I'm reaching out to everyone else for help as well, please be kind, I've seen what you've all posted when you think someone is an idiot. Damn, I hope I'm not an idiot for asking this

I've recently started using butt plugs. I've never been a huge fan of anal, because ... quite frankly, I find it painful. I know that 3/4's of this is me, I get nervous when the subject is brought up, and by the time it happens, I'm tighter than a girdle on a baptist minister at an all you can eat pancake breakfast. If I could relax, I know it'd feel better, but I still find myself tense and tight.

Anyways, it was suggested to me that perhaps stretching by myself, with plugs and toys and such, where I can go at my own pace, control the pressure etc may help. And indeed, I've recently moved from the small to the medium plug. And made it from 20 minutes for insertion down to about 5. So it is getting easier to use.

Now to my issue. Sorry if I'm rambling. I get like this when I'm nervous. I just want you all to understand the whole picture. Once the plug is inserted, I feel an incredible urge to urinate. Doesn't matter if I've emptied my bladder before or not. I've searched these forums, I've googled the hell out of it, and I find nothing. Lots and lots of information for if I was a man and this happened. Nothing for a female. The closest I've found for a woman is that if I feel the urge to pee during sex, it's ejaculation... I don't think that's the case here.

Please, does anyone else experience this? If so, is there anything you find that helps with the feelings? I'm posting this before I leave for work, so if I don't respond back, it's not that I don't care, I'll check when I get home later! Thank you all, for any help you can give, in advance.

You might have a rectocele. It's a protrusion of the rectum down into the pelvic area. If the rectum is full it could press on the bladder.

Thank you RealLady. I did look up rectocele, and I do have a couple of the symptoms... I'll be asking my doctor about it at my next exam.

I have had the same problem with some butt plugs.

I find that if they are too wide, then they press down on my bladder and/or some nerves that lead to the bladder and I get an uncontrollable urge to pee, almost like a really severe case of cystitis. Once the plug is removed, it's fine again.

I find that if I stick to a slimmer plug then I have no problems at all.

I did check with my gynae when I saw her, and she said it was perfectly normal and due to 'the way I was built'

Rectocele's are common pelvic floor problems after vaginal labors. Not, alas, helped by kegels.

Actually, that's one of the home remedies recommended by the Mayo Clinic... Not for severe cases, but mild ones. I don't know, I'll try anything, if it helps! Well, anything that doesn't sound absolutely crazy, lol.
