Those pants are very becoming on you.

Then again, if I were on you, I'd be cumming too.

I have never been told that a sincere compliment was inappropriate. I think it just depends on how you word it and the timing. I believe that I have even sent complimentary notes to a few on here. I almost never compliment a person on their looks as that is just something I don't put as a very high priority, usually its a quality a person has that makes me smile or wish I could spend time with them hanging out that reaches out and grabs me.

I freely compliment people and if they think I am coming on to them, oh well; maybe it will put them in a cheerful mood for the rest of the day and pass on the smile.  I personally love to be complimented, as long as it is sincere and I don't feel like a used car salesman is just feeding me a line.  Just the other day, after waiting in line for 2 hours at DMV, I was joking and laughing with the lady behind the counter (which I doubt she gets often), and when she was done with my processing, she told me, "Honey, you take that beautiful smile over there and get your photo taken now."  Was that a come-on or sexual harassment from the DMV clerk?  I sincerely doubt it!  There are people who over-analyze everything - and they are the ones who will die at the age of 55 with a sour-puss look on their face.  I plan to laugh my way to 100!

And Benji, if you sidled up to me and told me I had a cute ass, well, you sure as hell would not get slapped!  :-)

I personally welcome compliments .. don't often hear them being the Sadistic Mean Ass Bastid I am . but hell once in awhile is still nice . and I never take it wrong .....

Might ask ya if your looking at the right person or if you forgot your glasses but I still appreciate them ... and I'm sure most do as well

Basically I just lean over and whisper to my sub "She has a nice ass huh? I wouldnt mind tying her up and banging her til she sings the Hallelujah Chorus" He just grins ear to ear and nods, its nice having a Domme thats bi we can check out chicks together. [:D]

I give out some compliments, others like I said I just whisper to him and keep them between us.

I'm the type of person who loves to give sincere compliments/positive input to people...For example...if i walk into a store...and it's noticeably above standard in cleanlinesss...i comment to a clerk to that effect...or...if  someones outfit is  very flattering... servicefood/cleanliness  in restaurants...etc.
I was in a convieniance store/gas station yesterday and there was a woman standing near me  wearing some cropped pants that made her rear end look absolutely flawless...i was dying to tell her so but didn't want to freak her out.....are such compliments inappropriate?  Is there a standard...ie...it's ok for women to compliment other  women in such way but not aceptable  for a man to do so, or, appropriate  to compliment ones friends in such ways...but not strangers?

Its never inapproapiate to compliment me...compliment away! [:D]
