A lot of Independents vote Republican and the Republicans are losing the Independent vote with all their nonsense. Those Independents will either vote for Obama or sit out the election...either way, it isn't good.

The funny part about all that is thta as men, we already have to pay out of pocket for our birth control. Insurance doesn't buy condoms in bulk for us.

I was a registered Republican until 1993 or '94. The Republican party no longer represented my views. I became a Libertarian. I guess some people consider that "independent". I did not vote in the 2008 election and I feel shame for that. I did not discharge one of my duites of citizenship. This year, I will be voting for General/Secretary Powell; whether it's an open convention and he throws his hat in or if, by some miracle, he decides to run or, if I have to write his name in, myself. No (presently contending) Republican or Democratic candidate interests me in the least. Peace and comfort, Michael

The problem may come up if you argue as to how anyone could have voted for the guy elected. Your not having voted in a sense disqualifies you from criticizing the vote of others. However, you can be critical of the actual job performance of the guy that was elected. I didn't vote for anyone in 2008. I voted against someone.
