My mother told me the other day that I have "a mouth" on me.

LOL - she has no idea.

Shoes? WTF is this world coming to?!?!?!

Kaliko: One of my favorite things to do, right after a lady has enjoyed a nice, freshly delivered load is ask: "Would you go kiss your mother with that mouth?" LOL It has 'em rollin' in the aisle (and out my door), every time!

Peace and comfort,

Michael

I was getting to know a man who forbade me to curse. I was able to go without. I did always feel a little stab of fear go through me when I did mess up.

Sigh....I miss that feeling.

It's weird ... I run through cycles. I cuss like a drunken sailor and then, I realize my old self-admonishment (It may be an old adage. I don't rightly know): "Cursing is the sign of a confused mind, trying to express itself".

I would think that what I have noticed is fairly common to every one. When we type, we cuss less than we do, verbally. Why do you suppose that is? I believe it's because typing allows us the time to "pre-think" the next word and we have a greater opportunity to self-censor.

I have always appreciated ladies that only swore at "appropriate times" and then, I like it good and filthy. I have never forbade anyone the use of certain words (MIchael the 1st amendment lover doing that?) but, I have, at times, suggested that certain words lose their (good, fun) meaning, when they are over-used.

Admittedly, I have also encountered a few: "Get da fuck outta here! Yer freakin' me out wit dat shit!"

Peace and comfort,

Michael

starting to sound like that certain girl from up in Canada ;)

What pisses me off? More than a few things. But at the top of the list would be the hypocrisy of being politically correct. How many people will be ever so careful to not step on some peoples toes then jump up and down on others. I honestly believe that someone should round up all of these people. Take copies of the constitution, the bible, the flag (pick something meaningfull you get my point) wrap them around bricks and use them to bash in the feckin' heads of these two faced mother humping morons.

*by the way* This is why I don't hang out in p&r...no one would like me very much [:D]

DarkSteven -> RE: I swear like a sailor. (3/19/2012 1:23:38 AM)

I have only known one sailor in my life, and I met her on collarme. Oddly enough, she is very well educated (and obviously well traveled), and I have never heard her curse in the chats I've had with her.

BitaTruble -> RE: I swear like a sailor. (3/19/2012 1:23:54 AM)

I don't swear.. I emphasize with panache! [:D]

MrBukani -> RE: I swear like a sailor. (3/19/2012 4:29:35 AM)

MrBukani -> RE: I swear like a sailor. (3/19/2012 6:20:20 AM)

I used to start cursing in the street when something like this happened. I wasnt even really phased when it happened in front of the machine, I just walked away.
Back home I thought well do it where it dont hurt nobody.
Thing is I just went to the bank askin for a reason, maybe my account was blocked.
So the clerk called up central, I asked him why on the mobile phone she gave me.
Central said, it is because of skimming sir.... but I see you should have a new bankcard already in the mail, because your old card is passed date.
I didnt even bother askin central , so its not skimming its just a new card right?
They just want you to fear skimming I guess.
Why is it all the time I go out I get these contradictions.
God must either hate me or is screamin do fuckin goddamn something about it MISTER, why the fuck do you think I choose you to run into these motherfuckin stupid humans. Do you think its fuckin funny or what?[:D]

sunshinemiss -> RE: I swear like a sailor. (3/19/2012 6:39:44 AM)

I have a friend who says "puta madre" as often as I say, "well".... I have to force myself not to say it. Too many people around me knwo what it means. AISH!

MrBukani -> RE: I swear like a sailor. (3/19/2012 6:56:05 AM)

I guess its better then to be called Hijo de Puta.[:D]

sunshinemiss -> RE: I swear like a sailor. (3/19/2012 7:17:01 AM)

ahhh... don't speak a the Spanish, do you? It's like the energy difference between mother fucker (puta madre) and son of a bitch (hijo de puta)....

MrBukani -> RE: I swear like a sailor. (3/19/2012 7:31:27 AM)

difference is puta is really like whore. so literally you either are a whore fucker or the son of a whore.
To me its obvious wich is more offensive.
Callin anyones mom names tends to bring out the worst in people.
then again thinkin of this twice it doesnt really matter cause it says whore mother.
Anyway motherfucker sounds cool but doesnt offend much really in my eyes since every mother is fucked otherwise shes not a mom.
Or they are fuckin with your mother in a bad way.
See its kinda confusing.....

This is something that's very relevent to me.

I speak Spanish and "puta" is "whore".

The trouble is, many of us Americans have an old stand-by swear: "Son of a bitch!". Someone has perpetrated the idea that "bitch"="puta" amongst the Spanish people and when someone exclaims "son of a bitch!" (just in general, at no one in particular) in this neighbor hood, heads turn and you can hear the distinct "whoosh" and "click" of switchblades being activated.

The direct translation to Spanish of "son of a bitch" would be "hijo de perra". "Perra" being a female dog.

Peace and comfort,

Michael
