Swaggerseven: Your premise is flawed in a few places. Firstly, the vast majority of people who actually visit the discussion side of CM seem to prefer longer profiles. An overwhelming majority of folks who have replied to this thread of yours have stated such a preference. Which works for them. Secondly, you've stated several times that 'most people' this and 'most people' that when what you're really saying is YOUR OWN personal preference. Stating your own preference is fine, but trying to give the impression that you're in the right and everyone who disagrees with you is wrong is not going to go over well with the eclectic collection of ruggedly individual personalities here.

Third, longer profiles WORK for those of us that do prefer them. In my own personal experience, a long profile gives you more of an insight into the person who wrote it. It also gives the reader more potential conversation lead ins. To label people who take the time to write a thoughtful and insightful profile entry as 'desperate' is very small-minded of you. For me, a longer profile is a sign of intelligence, and intelligence is FAR sexier than any slutty pic could ever be.

Short version- Cope with the fact that not everyone thinks the same way you do.
