Even the people in the swamps are actually mostly nice.The roaches,I'll give you that.But I rarely have that problem.Not leaving out dirty pizza boxes and soda cans everywhere really help to decrease that population.

To be fair, we only ever had his word that he was surrounded by like minded individuals, and that's probably even more worthless than his claims to have served in Vietnam. (Though I suppose he could have been posting from his county's funny farm...)

The upper left part of that state is pretty conservative. Tons of military presence in the Pensacola area.

Yes,the Northwester part of Florida,also referred to as the "Panhandle" part of Florida is very Conservative.The Panhandle area borders Georgia and Alabama.So its more of a "Deep South" culture.South Florida is where alot of the Northerns move to.The middle of the state is sort of mixed bewteen natives and transplants.Alot of native Floridians are actually very friendly people.Alittle conservative but thats okay,still very nice people.Its actually the loud mouth transplants that come here and think they know it all.Repect the culture your in.
