I've learned that there's always room for growth, and for learning. I've learned that I'm not asking for opinions, I'm asking for experiences. That has made a big difference. And that I don't see myself as so much of a freak. The people on CollarMe have, in a short time, urged me to accept the kinkster in me. Because let's face it, she's a lot of fun.

Cryptic and ResidentSadist, your responses resonated with me. I just want you to know that.

I've learned that I don't give a fig if other people don't think I'm "submissive."  I don't belong to them, so I don't owe them anything beyond common courtesy.

I've learned so much that it wouldn't fit here and quite frankly 99% would be bored to read it all.

This. There's only so much I can fit into a broad generalization... Answering this fully would mean answering all I've found out about relationships and a good chunk of what I've learned about people in general over the past decade.

In terms of something useful, I'll say I've learned that if I don't like someone for a reason I can put my finger on, I will probably discover out why soon enough and will regret having been fair-minded enough to have invested the time.

I've learned that one of my most favorite things in this world is when he sings to me.

Oh my gosh, that's one of the things that melted my heart when I first got together with Master, CaptJosh, he sang to me over the phone. We are a 5 1/2 hour greyhound bus ride from each other now, and when he sings to me, he feels so much closer.

We have been best friends for six years and I never knew he sang! Then one night he called to talk to me after work and he sang a song about roses to me. It was so beautiful, it brought tears to my eyes. His dad was a barbershop singer and so Master inherited his singing talents from him.

Josh still sings to me quite often. And it always makes me feel good. But, anyways, back to this thread.

I have learned a few things on here. I learned that being a heavier set girl doesn't exclude me from activities that I would very much like to try. I have decided not to limit myself on things just because of my size.
I have also learned that everyone has a different M/s relationship and I think that is nice. I have also learned to appreciate and value my Master all the more because some things seem a bit scary and I'm happy he isn't into those things. We truly are a good match.

Ah, my pet, I love you so. And I love singing to you, too.

As for what I have learned already in my short time on CM and the message boards...

I have learned that just because people here are open-minded about sex and lifestyle choices doesn't mean they're open-minded about beliefs and faith. I have learned that trolls happen as much hear as other web boards, if not more.
I have also learned that it's awfully fun to put someone in their place for making a personal attack when everyone else has been arguing the points discussed and not going after the people discussing them, too.

EDIT: Deleted the quotes, since I got my reply in right after my little one's reply.

I thought My journal about it was quite entertaining. And...I didn't name any names. That is quite an accomplishment for Me.
Slowly but surely learning.

I've learned there are way too many male Doms per female submissives here, so it gives the few ladies a huge (75 men to 1 female) advantage that they don't have in most places.
[In a typical nightclub, btw, the odds on a bad night are 3-4 men to 1 woman, and good night almost even to find someone to talk with IN PERSON.]

I've tried to imagine if I was the one man and had 75 women interested...it would be hard to respond and such a danger to me to get stuck up...

No offense to those here, but There's times its best to saddle up and head out of town...

Out of all those you have encountered online and in person is there anything you have learned, possibly regreted, or even glad you didn't go there? Just curious.

Frankly, people are people. If my BS detector tells me someone is worth meeting, I haven't the experience overall to be much different than meeting people on a vanilla dating site. Some I connect with, some I don't. Overall, people are decent. A good number of people don't look as good as their photo.

I learned that it's a bad idea to have her fry my bacon naked.
Yeah, that wasn't a good morning.

And on a much less serious, far more trivial and irrelevant note, the Mouse, yeah, knowing her has made me a better person, a much better man and an infinitely better dom, for which I am only eternally grateful

Sweet post

I once ironed naked. Not a good idea. Let's put that in the frying bacon naked category. My right breast wasn't the same for a while
