A service like Merry Maids will be more expensive than someone from Craigslist, but they will be bonded, etc.

my friend comes in and cleans my moms place for 25 bucks per hour, but it never takes more then an hour

I had an arrangement 25 dollars for 2 days of cleaning and a sleep over but shes not in my life any more because she only comes around when I can be of use to her.

Have you ever been to a Marine Barracks? A large group of men gathered together in a clutter free clean safe and sanitary environment. Everything has a place and everything is in its place. Daily routinely tasks are performed and a minimum of time is required.

I am a bachelor, live alone in 3500 sq ft home and it’s never cluttered messy or dirty. I devote an hour a day to cleaning routinely, I have very little laundry because my trousers and shirts go to the Chinese laundry or Drycleaners and if I make meals there I wash dry and put away cooking and eating utensils immediately after eating. Once each quarter I have a lady and her son come in for deep cleaning and home maintenance, it costs me $100.00 and I generally tip them $ 50.00 because he does a lot of small repairs. So it’s not that expensive to hire outside help if you are doing the everyday living thins yourself.

I pay $60 twice a month for a woman who comes in for three hours to clean the kitchen, both bathrooms and wash the floors. Totally worth it.

You've talked about trying to lose weight in the past. By cleaning your own place you'll be burning off calories and you'll feel the satisfaction of knowing you did something for your health and your mind.

Just a thought.

You don't work right? Clean it yourself, save the money. I work 65 hours a week about, and I have a girl come in twice a month for 100 bucks each time. But if I didn't work I'd never pay for a cleaning person.

Are they big rooms? Or do you just hate doing it yourself? Our 2 rooms are not huge, but I get no help maintaining it and the rooms are extremely cluttered and I get overwhelmed and anxiety attackish very easily, so id appreciate some help, and wouldn't mind the experience of a person who cleaned for a living passing on their tips. Once things are better I will attempt to manage it Aline.
