If the email is sincere and they have clearly read my profile, then I'll answer them. If they call me slut, whore, etc and are telling me what to do (just because I am a submissve) then I don't bother replying.

Assuming I have time, I answer all my mail, but how I respond depends upon the tone of the note.

Lazy chatspeak notes (How RU Swee T?) gets a chatspeak response (GR8 thx).

Other than that, as long as someone took the time to write a nice note, I respond to it.

Anyone I don't want to. Love that hover feature...however it does create some momentary angst: do I want the poster to get smacked with 'deleted unread' or prevent any future disturbance with 'mark as spam/delete' (as well as block/hide.)

Meh, depends on my mood that day.

If they don't make it past my filters I tend not to answer mail in the bulk section unless it's clear that time and effort went in to their message.

And as for the regular I tend to reply to most unless it is something that is exceptionally rude, way to personal, or a cop-out like "hi" or "how r u". If someone gets out of line I ignore them. I think I've only had to block one, maybe two people.

I always check the profile of the sender before i reply. Even if the message is an one-word "hi".
I reply almost every message. Ok not the obvious trolls.

At some point i stop answering.
If he needs a soft ego massage by calling me slut or he wants me to call him master/daddy etc, then i stop.
If he posted pics but none of himself. I don't care even if those pics are from things he likes. For me these people deserve to get all the fakes. I take it as attention whoring and that for me is not a good sign/trait.
If he asked me a question without a question mark at the end of the sentence (pet peeve of mine)

I dont ancwer messages where i am asked to do somthing, i dont ancwer anyone younger or under 30...or couples...or anyone who is being rude, any abusive stuff i wouldnt respond too, i will say hi to pretty much the majorty of ppl (just because i am very social) i hope that helps! If i just didnt talk to strangers i would be missing out likely on some really nice people so i try and give the majorty a chance!

I message people that I feel like messaging - it always depends on my mood at the time. I usually have to have the last word, though, so usually I answer all.
