CAN ANYONE IN THE POWER OF ANOTHER REALLY WRITE WHAT THEY FEEL? well... yes! i do... i write from my heart, what i think and feel and imagine and fantasise and... well... everything! But then i think it depends on the individual writing and i can only speak for myself. i write my thoughts and feelings down for my Master to read. For me it is imperitive i be as open and honest with Him in knowing what i am thinking and feeling, so that we can have the deep D/s, M/s dynamic we both desire and need. However, for it to really work, the one writing the journal has to be open and honest, not only with their Master/Mistress, but first and foremostly with themselves... otherwise its all just stories and serves no real purpose... Also as ScooterTrash points out, i know it is a safe place for me to express myself, without fear of retribution. Rather advice and guidance often follows, from Him understanding my ramblings. i actually asked my Master if He would allow me to write for Him as a part of my expressing myself to Him, as i find it cathartic and really enjoy writing and sometimes i find it easier to express/explain myself in my writings than i do by mouth... if He doesn't understand something i have written He always seeks clarification and we discuss it so misunderstandings are usually avoided. i don't keep a journal here in CM, simply because i choose not to. As for writing here on the boards... if i come across a thread i feel i may be able to help/advise or simply enjoy responding to, then i respond... if it is a serious thread, then i always think before i write and then write from my heart... i can only hope that it may help at least one person, sometime, and if it does, then great! just like i hope this helps you... tali
