Well, I'm serious in that I cannot understand why people are spinning this in a way that's antithetical to our legal system. In our adversarial legal system, we don't rely on ONE stakeholder to do everything. We have police, judges and juries for a reason. The police investigate, arrest, and commence legal action. The Judge decides issues of Law. The Jury decides issue of Fact. So, since the Fact and Law appear so muddled, the natural reaction of an AMERICAN is to let the criminal procedure play out. 1) File the clearly established charges. 2) Let Zimmerman explain to a Judge why they should be dismissed. 3) And if there are any facts the Judge needs decided, go to the Jury. For example, in Florida law it's well known that the JURY is responsible for assessing the severity of the injuries sustained to determine if they meet the requirements for lethal force. So, everyone who says, "The cops found him innocent" is advocating a third world system of justice, where the POLICIA are the Judge, Jury and Executioner. Separation of Powers: It's used all over the Government. For a reason.
