Geez, I love solitude. It's the occasional sportfuck I , um, occasionally pine for.

Fucking grass is always greener, eh ?

sure, if you have a dick.

(generalizations, and yeah I know I did it..)

See? Grass is greener principle at work !

Besides, I'll have you know that having a dick comes with awesome responsibility . You think it's easy deciding when, where , why and how to sow trillions of life giving tadpoles , despite Nature's Powerful Imperative ?! Hmmmph...you're just responsible for one measly egg once a month and that only for a few decades, fer fecks sake. [8|]

I love how the longer you go without sexual contact with someone the stronger the sex is when you finally are together. With my Master we build and build the anticipation between the times we are together. Sometimes it's a couple of weeks and sometimes it's over a month between being able to get together. We text and talk on the phone. And then when we are together. It's like fireworks. I love how that works! :)

I also love that sex can be a great workout too. I definitely need all the exercise I can get.

There used to be a store nearby that sold the "Better than sex cake."

It wasn't.

I have had a revelation! Having it right now, as a matter of fact! (Don't worry, I have a towel nearby.)

Severe sexual frustration = a GREAT workout!

What else is better without sex? Please tell me. Anything. I'll take anything.

I'm working on this but....I'm having a (difficult) time with the entire concept.

Better than sex.

Ice cream.....ehhh....I don't think so.

Steak....it's close....but no cigar.

A good cigar....VERY close....but still....no pinata.....

I'd say....sex wins every time.

LaTigresse -> RE: Who needs sex, anyway? (3/30/2012 7:33:17 PM)

I don't know. I just had some warm, fresh from the oven, brownies that could definitely sway me.

A great rare steak followed by some port and dark chocolate.....definitely better.

LadyHibiscus -> RE: Who needs sex, anyway? (3/30/2012 8:00:44 PM)

I have had many meals that were better than sex. Certainly lasted longer! [;)]

If the meal lasted longer, you've been having sex with the wrong people.

Kaliko -> RE: Who needs sex, anyway? (3/30/2012 10:01:18 PM)

But my question was what is better without sex, not what is better than sex.

Exercising is definitely a bit of a release in lieu of sex, so I'm finding myself doing it at a more energetic pace. (Or, perhaps my cardio is improving with or without lack of sex, but whatever.) But...what else?

Anything?

Kaliko -> RE: Who needs sex, anyway? (3/30/2012 11:40:06 PM)

Writing. (Can likely be said of any creative endeavor.) While love and sex can certainly inspire, venting frustration into words can lead to more soulful writing. Perhaps to my detriment.

Meditation

But then, of course, there's Tantra, but that's a bit different.

Hmm. I haven't found writing takes my mind off sex, and I write every day (working on a book)! Then of course, there's writing about sex, or fiction about sex... ;-)

What are you writing? Why to you detriment? It's a great way to really look inside and see what we're about.

"Meditation is not what you think."

sunshinemiss -> RE: Who needs sex, anyway? (3/31/2012 6:05:32 AM)

It's difficult to write about sex when one is not having it... or so I have found...

Kaliko - what is better without sex? I'm gonna say dancing - tango / salsa. That whole desire, wanting thing makes the dance sizzle.

LadyHibiscus -> RE: Who needs sex, anyway? (3/31/2012 6:29:46 AM)

But doesn't sexay dancing make it worse?

sunshinemiss -> RE: Who needs sex, anyway? (3/31/2012 6:34:43 AM)

Not for me, Hibalicious. It makes me feel energized and fabulous. I think dancing is better without sex. I love the need, the desire, the edge... it is where the great dance is for me.

LadyHibiscus -> RE: Who needs sex, anyway? (3/31/2012 6:41:19 AM)

We gotta go dancing. [;)]

Musicmystery -> RE: Who needs sex, anyway? (3/31/2012 6:42:19 AM)

*nods*

Dancing is a vertical representation of a horizontal act.
