The plants are 4 foot tall, compared to 2 foot of regular irises. They are planted where the greywater from the house drains to with biodegradable soaps.

Very pretty! They must like where they're planted...rich soil I guess.

Ok, I need to go out and buy flowers today or tomorrow. That made me want to see the beautiful flowers outside my window even more.

When I had a house and garden, I kept several different species of Iris and they do come in different height. I got out the tape measure, and 4' does seem tall, although within the norm for bearded iris.
