At the end of the day, Zimmerman chose to pursue, and a teen is dead. I think it is entirely reasonable for people to expect him to go before a Jury to defend his actions. If he does not, given that he apparently has ties to the local Prosecuting Attorney's office, there will always be strong ground to wonder if he was protected after breaking the law. Granted, if he is found innocent, and the courtroom facts show that his innocence is based more on the way the law was written than on him making morally justifiable choices, then it would be bad for the law as written. But Zimmerman could have just called the police and left it at that... Why didn't he?

That makes sense to me, the idea that we should wait to pass judgement instead of sending lynch mobs to his house is very reasonable. It's the people making up stories and coming up with evidence to exonerate Zimmerman that they can't cite and no one else has heard of that's really baffling and worrisome to me.

I would say it would then be time to apologize to Zimmerman and leave him alone...then go after the stupid ass law that was the true cause of this tragedy. But that will never happen no matter what evidence or how conclusive it is. He will continue to be crucified by the African American community who will accuse the police of hiding or changing evidence. I do not blame the African American community after this whole situation was mishandled from the beginning… It will just be another easily avoided tragedy that reinforces distrust. If he is prosecuted it will seem to many that he was railroaded because of the negative publicity…even if he is guilty as hell. There is no good solution now…just time to get the water canons and guard dogs ready for the riots no matter what the outcome. Butch

He`ll get a show on foxnews......he`ll be fine IF he`s exonerated.He`s got a pay pal site with his pathetic story asking for donations......Kirata was right.......there is money in this. He`s got a lot of explaining to do and questions to answer before all that. Killing someone shouldn`t be that easy though........just say`n.
