i always read old threads before i start posting someplace in order to get the lay of the land. it's pretty clear that there is a lot of confusion and bewilderment here about why/how someone could possibly get off on playing with money dommes (other than a howling sense of desperation). although i'm not one of those guys who identifies as a "human atm," or even someone who has a single money mistress to whom i'm fiercely loyal, i have sent a few bucks to money dommes and occasionally play online. so if anyone has any questions about what it's like to get the urge to occasionally play with fin dommes, i'm happy to try to answer them (bearing in mind that i am naturally lazy and capricious and may or may not lose interest in this quickly).

lol. though no real need for snark. the op is just trying to "help". i'd rather read this than the millions of posts by unattractive/boring/broke guys complaining that there is no free/easy sex

Is the financial aspect an important part for you or is that the "price of admission" for something else?

What makes it worth the money for you? If the session isn't satisfying enough would you ask for your money back? Do you view it as a business transaction, or is paying itself an act of submission for you?

I think most of the misunderstandings about money slavery and financial domination come from the terminology. It's really a financial fetish, it's not always domination nor is it domination of finances or paying for domination, not necessarily anyway.

In the same way that a foot fetishist is excited by feet or things related to feet, a financial fetishist is excited by the exchange of money.

Since it's been a month, maybe I can pick up a little here:

The financial aspect is very important. It's both symbolic and fulfilling in the same way that submitting to physical pain is for a the typical masochist.

The transaction itself feels like surrender, and then later that feeling of submission is perpetuated by having to be frugal.

The paying itself is the important part. Consider the case of a place like Niteflirt where people are literally paying to pay more. The two, paying for a persons time and paying as part of a fetish are really often separate experiences.

Giving to a stranger, or more likely a pro-dom(me) (be they in person or online) is really just a way to play out a fantasy. When you do that you're submitting to your own fantasy, not really the other person.
