hello fellow subs,

I would like some advice on how best to achieve 'the bald pussy look'. Cosmo doesn't cover this topic in enough depth so I'm coming here to speak to the experienced! Here is my problem - I use a Wilkinsons Sword Quattro ladies razor with replaceable blades and I shave every day in the shower with plenty of shaving gel. However, even if the blade is new, I can't get a completely clean look. The razor seems to leave about 1mm of hair behind. I shave both in the direction of the hair growth and across it. I've tried shaving against the hair growth and I had a lovely bald patch covered in blood! That is problem number 1. Problem number is is that shaving every day leads to a nasty pimply look. So I have pimples and stubble. Not the look I was hoping for. Help!!!

I always found it really hard to get totally bald/smooth with a razor without scraping myself raw.... Hir removal cream is a pain in ass to faff around with but if you get one designed for removing bikini hair it can work great

Hmm...I have considered waxing but the problem is that it involves growing your hair in between waxes and paying a lot of money! I also suspect the result would last for a short time as I grow back very quickly! I might give it a go sometime.

I use Gillette cartridge razors and shampoo instead of shaving cream and don't have the stubble problem except in the "landing strip" area, so leave that unshaven, plus the completely bald look squicks me for me. (Not knocking it for others.)

If you too find that just one area give you the majority of your problems, how about getting that area lasered (as opposed to the whole pubic area, into which you may not want to invest the cost, time, and pain.)

Some suggestions;

For the bumps:

Shave in the direction of hair growth only.

Bikini Zone has a product called Anti-bump Gel, which I recommend.

For the stubble:

Don't shave everyday, this promotes growth.

Forgot to add (my bad) use a fresh razor. Buy cheapie disposables so you are using a fresh blade every time you shave.

Although a depilatory product meant for the pubic area will give you a nice smooth feel, it's not something you want to use everyday. Over time I can't imagine daily use wouldn't irritate the skin down there.

Stubble can be quite painful. Use a creme rinse or light conditioner to soften the stubble.

Realize that like most people, you are only going to achieve a smooth bald feel if you permanently remove the hair.

Although waxing can give you great results much longer than shaving, yes, you have to have some growth or the wax doesn't grab enough hair to pull the follicles, which is what you want to inhibit hair growth. It is also very expensive.

I lovveee the idea of requesting your dom to either wax or shave you. Now that could be a hot, sexy, scary AND practical option.

Have you tried sugar waxing? It's something that can be done in the comfort of your own home,
and the clean up is easier than hot wax. And economical too, as you can get a 5lb bag for under $3.00

I use disposable razors change them daily.
Shave with the hair.
Use shampoo instead of shaving cream.

I'm a pussy (hah!) when it comes to waxing so I always used an electric razor. You get a pretty close shave without using creams and there's no ingrown hairs. I used to shave every two or three days, long enough to shave, but not long enough to be considered stubble either.

If there is a cosmetology school near by, they do waxes. They are very cheap because it is a school, however there is an instructor there with you. But, I would ask for a senior to do the waxing as they have more experience. It's a good way to go if you're on a budget.

Optima by Emjoi. I use tweezers in between. Let the epillator yank out the hair. (OK, I'm not actually a submissive woman at all, I'm more of a sadomasochist...

For the non masochists on here, I recommend Magic platinum. It's awesome and leaves the area smooth.

Carol generally shaves with a new or almost new disposable razor. She does it regularly and it works pretty well. Based on a tip here, we use hair conditioner rather than shaving cream. We find it works better. Heh, I use hair conditioner on my face too.

On myself I sometimes use depliatory creams. For Carol I have never dared. Man, there is SO much way sensitive skin tucked in so many little places. It just seems like a thing begging for awful chemical burns.

I agree with littlewonder regarding magazine photos. ALL published photos of women in the US have taken a little trip through the digital cosmetic surgery department.

I do this too, but it is only "pretty close", not totally cleanshaven. Still, it beats the painful gross razorburn & ingrown hairs I always get with a blade.

Dunno what to tell you about shaving totes bald, but hydrocortisone cream is good for post-shaving irritation, and gently exfoliating (with a loofah or whatever) will help prevent ingrowns.

I also struggle with waxing and epiliation..... I think I'm down to deciding between switching to disposable razors/ hair conditioner or trying an electric razor. I'm in the UK so not sure if I can get all the specific products people mentioned. I'm sure there are alternatives here though. Can I ask which electric razors you recommend? Has anyone tried a Bodybare?

I am wondering, is the bald pussy look a myth? I've always thought I must have particularly troublesome hair but given the comments on here perhaps the truth is that the porn industry has a lot to answer for!! Here's a confession: I used to worry that my asshole was 'stained' because the girls whose assholes I saw were porn actresses....when I realised they bleach them I was relieved, to say the least!

Blast it with lasers finish it off with electrolysis in my opinion. Just look at it as spending upfront all the money you would spend on razors/other removal products over your life. I don't have a pussy, but for that general area if I really want it smooth I dry shave with a 6 blade razor (some generic Weis brand ones that are surprisingly good/cheap). It seems to work well as long as I don't do it more than once every 3-4 days. Main problem is dry shaving kills razors very fast.
