LaTigresse -> RE: 666 (6/5/2006 2:07:14 PM)

tomorrow I will be doing pretty much the same thing as today....mostly working

missgiveNTake -> RE: 666 (6/5/2006 2:37:11 PM)

I'm just glad my birthday was today and not tomorrow. I get enough slack about being born in 69....lol.

If you were born in 99 would the 3 "9's" in the year save you since they are "6's" upside down?

Heck if the world is ending tomorrow, am I safe to screw everyone I see, since I will be dead tomorrow and not have to worry about STD's???

popeye1250 -> RE: 666 (6/5/2006 5:27:59 PM)

Damn! I'll be up in Canada clubbing baby seals.

EdensDevil -> RE: 666 (6/5/2006 5:34:50 PM)

Numerology is stupid.

Its better to just celebrate every day. It's easier to plan, and then they're are no surprises.

GASP. I am trying to imagine something exciting happening today, the sixth day of the sixth month of 2006. Alas, I know, just know, that it's going to be the usual aperitif mix of news.

Let's all HOPE together: perhaps it's when we expect something hard enough that it does occur. HARDER, altogether now!

RedRedWine -> RE: 666 (6/5/2006 9:40:13 PM)

Shit...Sammy Haggar is holding a concert here on that day. My friend and I were going to buy tickets to see him from her dad...oh but no...someone has to work. So I'm either going to try and make her call in sick, go with a co-worker, or just go see a movie. Or hey...maybe I could go with her Dad and Mom, only that would be weirdish.

Good luck with the house hunting.  As for me, I just finished for the day (it's 5:00 pm here).  I've been looking since 9:00 am.  I never knew there were this many shitholes in Lafayette.  I think I've seen all of them.  I found two worthy possibilities, though, provided they are scrubbed and sanitized before move in.  You can't beat a huge three bedroom, two full bath, dual living room, large dining room and seperate large kitchen half a historic house for $500.  It gets cleaned and I'll get happy.

On a different note, nothing exciting so far, though I have noticed that people are driving much worse today.  I'm a very mild-mannered driver and I've had to honk and scream at three cars, two pedestrians and one truck today.  Crazy I tell you.

I have a huge 1 bedroom with one bath, very nice and newly renovated, but pay 3 times that much, even after converting to Canadian dollars.

I have decided I'm gonna move to Lafayette and commute.

Time to relax and put your feet up.  Maybe pop in a DVD race
car game to run over the fake drivers.  lol

Glad you found a place for such a good price.

I am paying more than that for a room in a townhouse apartment.

Blessed Be,

Vendaval -> RE: 666 (6/6/2006 3:22:24 PM)

I have actually found something even worse than looking for a place, packing, moving, unpacking, etc.
That is dealing with all the stuff a dead relative leaves behind!

A couple of years ago one of My aunts dropped dead of a heart
attack.  None of her affairs were in order and all Hell broke loose.
She was a wealthy recluse who lived in a 5 bedroom house, full
of stuff, all by herself.  We had to get pass on, return, or sell;
2 Cadillacs, 1 red and 1 black, 8 sets of dishes, tons of expensive
clothing and shoes and handbags, and all the furniture, rugs,
silver, china, the iron patio furniture chained to the porch, etc.
The whole process took about 4 -6 months.  My mom and some
of my cousins were stuck handling this, on top of their daily lives
and responsibilities like career, kids, church, etc.

Then when aunty's coffin was shipped out of state to the masoleum
to be placed next to her husband's coffin, the cemetary had
misplaced the paperwork.  Yes, some poor working stiff in
their office had to call my mother and ask her where to put
the coffin!

Mom had had enough of the whole mess and started shouting,
"You put her next to her husband who died 20 years ago in the same crypt, you fool!"

Auntie had always been paranoid that when she died the
cemetary would swtich her expensive bronze casket for
a cheap wooden one.  So mom asked the office stiff
to describe the casket.  He answered to her satisfaction.
The coffin was the same one shipped to the cemetary from
the funeral parlor.

The owner of the cemetary called and apologized to my
mother.  Now we are able to joke about it.  "Hey we got a body
in a coffin here.  But no paperwork, no toe tags?  Where does it go?"

Now, I got an uncle and a cousin fighting over a burial plot!

That is My gallow's humor for today.   [sm=preen.gif]

Off to vote in the California elections and then to a 666 Gothic
Groove Party!

Two women in my area postponed their C-sections for tomorrow so their children would not be born on 06/06/06.  What is the big deal.

It's about 95 degrees here today and feels like over 100... maybe there is something to this 666 thing afterall.

Mercnbeth -> RE: 666 (6/6/2006 4:15:53 PM)

Baseball is into '666' marketing.

Today's game on 6/6/6:

At stake the fate of humanity souls. See it on Fox tonight!

Coincidence? I don't think so...

Today turned out to be great for me. I was hired by a company with an offer that pays eight hundred bucks extra a month, allows over time, and gives better bennifits. Hell yeah I took it. So long sick and elderly, it was nice helping you but I find my true calling to go where the money is. I originally took assistant and technical jobs in the medical field because I liked helping people. Now I just like making money. Yeah, there may very well be some Anti Christ in me. That just might explain my good fortune for today.

snappykappy -> RE: 666 (6/6/2006 9:07:07 PM)

heck all i do is give away xs energy sports drink and people like it and drink it and want more and i get paid for it and they reorder more each month and i get paid again and again and again
