So far 2 secret service supervisors have been fired over the prostitute scandal in Columbia.
Two Secret Service supervisors who have lost their jobs in a prostitute scandal during a recent trip to Colombia are David Chaney and Greg Stokes, a third agent has been allowed to retire.

The other eight members allegedly involved in the scandal are on administrative leave and have had their security clearances suspended, according to the Secret Service. Ten military personnel are also being investigated for their possible participation.

They seriously compromised national security, and more importantly the safety of our President, I am glad this has all come to light, and I think everyone directly involved should be fired.

2 secret service supervisors fired, more to come!

New rule.....no more facebook.....

"One of the Secret Service supervisors ousted in the agency's ongoing prostitution scandal joked on Facebook that he was checking out former Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin as he protected her during the 2008 campaign.
David Chaney, one of two supervisors forced out of the agency this week, wrote: "I was really checking her out, if you know what i (sic) mean?" after a friend commented on the picture posted in January 2009.
In an interview with Fox News Thursday, Palin said the joke is on Chaney."

I see it in wider context. Highly-paid secret service staff sees themselves as part of the corrupt power, and the corruption is contagious. They see it all around, can not talk about it, and they mistakenly think they have power too. The moral they will learn will be: yes, but do not get cought. It is very unprofessional; secret service should be able to operate in secret.

I am not paying the bitch!!
or
The government is not the only organization trying to save money, so is the secret service!!

So many jokes here.

What makes it extra wild, IS--- if they had paid the money, more than likely they would not have been caught!!!!!!

From the article below: the scandal, which involves as many as 20 Colombian women, broke last week after a fight over payment between a prostitute and a Secret Service agent spilled into the hotel hallway. A 24-year-old Colombian prostitute told The New York Times that the agent agreed to pay her $800 for a night of sex but the next morning offered her only $30. She eventually left the hotel, she told the newspaper, after she was paid $225.

Another version is, the prostitute asked for $250 was given $50 and thrown out of the room.
She banged and yelled and kicked the door, hotel security came and thats how they were busted!!!

Lost my job, cause I didn't want to pay for play!

11 men involved, what the hell were they thinking?

OH! excuse me, they were NOT thinking.

This is one of those times that I really don't see the reason for the bru-ha-ha.

I'm sure the Secret Service agents weren't engaging in sex while they were on duty? I would have a problem with that but, the way I understand it, the man/men who were actually having the sex were doing it in their off-duty hours. They're human and given that they do - by definition - have to "live differently" than the rest of us (especially on the PPD), I think we can allow a little leeway when it comes to engaging in activities that are legal where they happen to be in their off-duty hours.

Obviously, it is not legal to refuse to pay the young ladies for their services.

As far as the ladies being removed from the hotel; I can't help but wonder if the thinking of the agents that did so (assuming they were not the ones engaging the services of the young ladies) was: "We can't have this kind of a ruckus in the hotel where the president is staying". I mean, theoretically, it was some of these agents that reported the mis-deeds of the agents who've been outed? Who else would have known?

What really baffles me is: short of the commander-in-chief coming out and saying: "I fully support these men and their actions and we should exonerate them and move on", why is any of this being used as some sort of indictment on the president? I'm sure one of his first thoughts was: "These muh-fuckers are supposed to be protecting me; not getting their horns scraped. Dis shit's gettin' real!"

Peace and comfort,

Michael

While soliciting prostitution is in most cases legal for adults in Colombia, it is considered a breach of the Secret Service's conduct code, government sources said

The fact that you don't realize what happened was wrong, on at least 25 different levels, is for you to figure out.

I am angry that these men, that are paid great money to protect our President, would be so simple minded and stupid, much less putting themselves in a position in which they could be hurt, which would compromise our President's safety also.

I am glad they were caught, and I am glad their stupid asses are being nailed.

President Obama had jack shit to do with this, the fact that you would imply that this is a reflection on him, is utter bullshit.

Peace

If I read right, DS was saying he had no idea why anyone would blame this on the president, not what you are saying.

I disagree with everything he said, and because of this last line, I may put him on ignore.
I am seriously offended, and done with simple minds right now.

For the record, I have not heard anyone implicate President Obama in this crap.

Other than some right wing crazy news crap, no reputable/main stream sources have mentioned any President Obama involvement.

I am done even discussing him and his stupid post.

There is the first part of that paragraph, which, I believe, clearly states the president had nothing to do with it.

quote:

I'm sure one of his first thoughts was: "These muh-fuckers are supposed to be protecting me; not getting their horns scraped. Dis shit's gettin' real!"

As for the part you quoted, to me, it makes sense. If I was prez, I would be wondering why they worried about dippin their wicks, when they were on duty to make sure I was safe.

Marini, I nearly always agree with your viewpoints. Thing is, DS is agreeing with them also, I do not understand why you are so pissed at him.

I don't have a dog in this fight, so I reckon I am done too.
