ORIGINAL: SoulAlloy A random question but one that's been bobbing in my head for a while now, looking for the inspiration to phrase it right... The inspiration hasn't come but it's still bugging me When meeting people do you ever find your fetishes are just too damn distracting? Say for example boots... You aim to be dashing and debonair, but bloody hell those boots look gorgeous... I have a female friend too who has a similar problem with long hair... Less of a problem in messages on cm, though those ads are a bit distracting sometimes lol Sometimes I think life would be so much simpler without them, though not half as much fun :p So do you find yourselves inadvertently overcome by them? Do you train yourselves to ignore them or remain the stuttering wreck or appear to be a bit of a lech? When I meet someone I am interested in getting to know them as a person. Sure, I might enjoy their hair, or their attire, or whatever, but I am still in the conversation. But I should say that I don't have fetishes that live outside the dynamics of a relationship. By that I mean, I might become sexually excited by the sight of a woman wearing a particular shoe, but that's because of my feelings for the woman, not my feelings for the shoe. It may be a cliche, but what excites me is a woman's personality and outlook, so that always trumps attire.
