At this stage I want to know about Ron Paul’s treatment of dogs since he may run on a third-party ticket. Did he know about the articles advocating animal cruelty in his newsletter, and does he still believe in the government policy of using mind-melded cats to control the populace?

I couldn't work out if it was serious or not at first. I sometimes can't tell with American political ads. Someone linked to a Santorum ad here once, with Rick loping through a sunny meadow in alarmingly tight jeans and with ludicrous perfume-advert-type music playing in the background. I was guffawing till it suddenly hit me that it was all meant in deadly earnest. (Something about Santorum's conviction that heterosexuals shouldn't be allowed in the military, or similar, if memory serves.)

So, I'm guessing from Sternskipper's attempt to make this an issue again, that he completely missed the President trying to joke (trying, because it bombed horribly) that pitbulls are delicious with soy sauce.

That's because the spoofed ad uses some basic, although strained subtleties. Unlike the picture in post 8 that is as subtle and intellectually impressive as the use of explosive diarrhea in for humor.

If I have to start worrying about what people eat, then I am not going to be able to vote for most candidates in America. So does this mean pescatarians don't vote for people who eat meat? Does this mean vegetarians don't vote for people who eat fish/eggs/meat? Does this mean vegans don't vote for people who eat dairy? Does this mean people with high cholesterol don't vote for people who eat eggs/butter? Does this mean Jewish and Muslim people don't vote for anyone who enjoys their Sunday bacon? Does this mean Hindus don't vote for people who eat beef? Does this mean raw food people don't vote for people who eat cooked food? And what about blood sausage? I guess only the vampires will support those folks. Or calves brain, head cheese? And what about all the people who view carbohydrates as the devil incarnate? Who are they going to be able to vote for?

I want a full report on every single thing that a candidate consumes for food, not just now, but at any time in their life, wherever in the world they were at the time, because after all, heaven forbid we vote for someone who does not have exactly the same dietary habits as us.
