A few things I need to mention about what happened last night:

1. This hemp matt I am sitting on is NOT nice.
2. I don't usually mark up at all....my butt looks like I should have a "Taste the rainbow" banner across the top.
3. Orgasm denial can be delicious.
4. I did not cry, but I also did not get as angry as I expected.
5. He only stopped because he BROKE the hairbrush on my ass.
6. I did manage to get to some headspace, but not the place I usually go, I'm not sure what to make of it.
7. I didn't get to go OTK until after we got home in the early hours of this morning, the one dungeon they had open was too crowded.
8. I'm kind of pissed about #7. We used a massage table instead and he couldn't wrap his arms around my waist very well during the rough parts.
9. Did I mention he broke the brush?

There's plenty more, I'm in a very good place this morning even though my night did not end with release.... though I guess you could say we are still "in it" this morning which I love.

I need coffee LOL

Status: offline 		Yes indeed he enjoyed every second of it. I tried extremely hard nt to let my bitch mode come out when things weren't going perfectly and just adapt. Thankfully there was another couple there we have been hanging out with so I had someone else to voice my dissappointment to when I needed it.

And yes, it took some force to break the brush. I though my backside was on fire, but it was exactly what I wanted for him. He got to make it last all night long too. He went out with me yesterday to BB&B and we added an oak bath brush to the toybag and on the way out he spotted this hemp rug thing (like a welcome mat) which he had me sit on all the way home in the car, brought it in and made me sit on it plugged and in cuffs while he did dirty things to my face <grin> and when I got up this morning he told me to bring it out to the computer room to place in my chair until he gets up a little later....not fucking nice (but delicious)
After we got home and my backside was already feeling a a bit raw he got to put me over his knee on the bed and continue spanking for awhile.
I hope this feeling lasts awhile, it's warm and glowing and...mmm yum.

Something about being taken OTK and paddled with the hairbrush like an errant schoolgirl is just fucking HOT to me...a paddle will accomplish the same physical result, but mentally doesn't quite get there.

Got a website or something more specific I can google for what you have Lady Hib?

I'm looking for sturdy and FLAT (the bathbrush has a slightly rounded back and I hate it LOL)
Maybe I can sand the back down and revarnish though...hmm...

Status: offline 		I actually have a collection of hairbrushes...my handle back in the day was Aunt Strict i got mine at Marshall's ages ago...and you can still find Kent brushes there. Also, ebay! I have some vintage ebony ones that are astounding! Also bakelite and French ivory, and...wheeee!

Vermont Country Store has some nice brushes too. For when you are feeling wealthy, google Mason Pearson. Kent is still in business too, of course!

Status: offline 		I got a lot of good information out of this too - thanks to you all. As it happens, I was in a conversation via E-mail with a couple of subs about this issue on that other site, ...f....l...e when this thread started.
I'm not a practicing hypnotist, but I can use a simple induction to get girls into subspace, and then build it up from there when I'm looking for deep subspace. Conversely, making them count (either 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 thank you Sir! or 1, thank you Sir, 2, thank you Sir, 3... up to 5, thank you Sir) seems to keep them from getting into more than a light subspace, and I often will whisper in their ear between sets that I want them to let the pain flow through them and experience all of it.
I do this with canes, and it hasn't occurred to me to try it with whips. I do find that in both cases, blindfolding the girl and keeping the strokes random and nonrhythmic makes it harder to bear.
Once a friend loaned his sub to me to spank; I knew she was really new to this, so I got her over my lap and did a simple induction while warming her up with a spankng. I got her into a medium subspace, went on with the spanking for another 20 minutes, then cuffed her hands behind her back that told her to relax, in a minute I wanted her to very slowly and in a relaxed way slide off my lap and kneel up for me.(it worked; but lots of times they'll hurry and come out of subspace. I've never done anything like that speech before; usually I just get them back into deeper subspace. in this case, I was startled to see a major rush of emotion go through her, and she actually teared up. I didn't know what was going on or what to do, so I just pulled her into my arms and held her until she stopped crying. Then I checked her out; she was still in subspace and clearly feeling peaceful and happy, so I just left it alone and didn't question her. It turned out she had teenager/parent issues going on, and was out of a job and living with three roommates in a converted (converted badly) garage an hour and a half out into the Mojave desert, and I guess she hadn't felt safe and secure and accepted for a long time.
Later that day I tried the same thing on her roommate (they both came to interview for a modeling job) and got the same reaction - that definately put it in my mental classification of Really Cool Stuff That I Don't Understand and Need To Be Careful With until I DO understand it.

Status: offline 		An update, or rather something I forgot: The next day I happened to mention it to one of my friends, who's also a Dom and an extremely talented Hypnotherapist. He reminded me that in medium to deep subspace, just as in the same levels of hypnosis, when you talk to the submissive you're talking directly to her subconscious. And of course, as in hypnotic trance, she's very suggestible. If you happen to word it right, and you have her best interests in mind, your words can have a powerful influence on her, as we saw when what I said made her feel secure and safe for the first time in, apparently, quite a long time.
