As others have said, munches and meet and greets are good as are demos. I am a very shy person, at times painfully so. I gathered my courage several years ago and took that step and never once have I regretted it. I have met some awesome people and made some wonderful friends some of whom are also regular play partners.

Every Dom i ever played with, i met online, either at alt or bonage. Later on i met a D/s couple through a yahoo group and it was through them i met Master. i am currently seeking a Mistress and am doing it through this site and fet. i do it by striking up a conversation through messages first, progress on to messenger then meeting for a coffee.

OP, you live in Orlando, home of the Woodshed, one of the top play dungeons in the nation.
Join a local munch and arrange to meet people from there at the Woodshed.

Email the munch organizer, explain you're new and nervous and they'll introduce you to everyone there.
