Anyone else remember Yakov Smirnoff?

One of his best jokes was "In America, you watch TV. In Soviet Union, TV watches you"

It's now happening here.

Now? It's been happening since before I was born.

there is huge money in arresting people for anything they can get to stick. its not about law here its about what they can get to stick. legal procedures are designed to favor the gubafia in conjunction with the attorneys (BAR) who invented it all. The private man does not stand a snowballs chance in hell unless he has nothing to do but study law 24/7. I have shown you all the paperwork where they bond the cases and they get sent up as derivatives on wall street. the CRIS account. There is huge money in courts and attorneys and private jails in our land of the penal colony.

I agree with you on that,.. its about the money, city halls, police depts.. they need cash flow to get paid themselves and their buddies and for equipment they can use personally but paid for out of the govt coffers..

Honey, you'll have to work harder than that to wear the coveted foil.
Only the activists of the paranoia set get to wear the foil.

But.. but... I bought my tin foil already, and its the good strong stuff too..

Why the hell did you vote for McStain? Even I was smart enough not to vote for that joker.

Because the alternative was to vote for obama and I didn't feel he had what it was going to take to get us out of the ratfuck the country was in 4 years ago. Lemme guess. You're one of those who doesn't bother to vote but you bitch and whine.

Actually, I wrote in a candidate for President, and voted for my choices in local elections. But believe what you will.

And your choice had exactly HOW much of a chance of making a difference?

I think the technical definition is "fuck all".
I love the way people who are too up themselves to vote tactically carry on like writing in a choice or scrawling "none of the above" on a ballot is any more productive than just shitting on it.

Not really sure that's a good thing. All of his characters since Ali G are crap, and leave deeply obnoxious aftertaste. (Unlike Ali, who was occasionally funny, despite leaving a deeply obnoxious aftertaste.)

Thats it Mooony old slice - I've decided you don't possess a sense of humour anymore. Five fucking letters: B-O-R-A-T...

Presidential? Zero, locally, both in the state house and national house, plenty... Bayh gone, Lugar gone, Burton gone. Pence as future governor, Mourdock as Senator... Life is good here.

Hiding behind a false persona to try to make people embarrass themselves in front of a camera is never funny.

We were talking presidential votes remember?

As short as your memory seems to be, I rather hope you don't do much interrogation

And yet you found Ali G funny? I agree though in that I didn't it like when it was unfair or humiliating to others but still much of the Borat material was extremely funny especially when the joke was mainly focused on Borat himself as in much of the movie.

That isn't funny.

Actually, I don't do any interrogations, I'm a Deputy Marshall, not Sheriff, or IMPD local.

p.s. the topic was government spying, not Presidents
