Is this one just me?

Its been a long while since I had a sub fill out a list of preferences and limits...however recently I've had occasion to ask for 2 or 3. Replies came back. Oh my. Its like a mental striptease. Or kinky Bingo. This may have to go on _my_ list in future.......

This is not "just you". I enjoy reading the lists as well and imagining the possibilities . . . .

I like to fill them out wrong.

eehh....some find them fun or exciting. Lists from a Dom just bore me and says he only works from a list instead of from his imagination, the moment, the environment, the mood. For me, what I like with one person isn't what I like with another. I evolve with each one.

I don't like acts-I like her...which is why I enjoy doing things to her.

I agree with this (from the sub side of the equation).

That said, Kinky Bingo sounds fun. Anyone up for a game?

I agree with a lot of the comments above. For me its really a start of the conversation. I'm mostly after where any hard limits are and anything the sub currently knows is a real turn on. I would hope to expand on that of course.....normally I'd prefer to have long chats over a coffee but in these cases that wasnt possible. And of course sometimes a Dom can lead a conversation and pressure a prospective sub into something they do wanna or result in them going elsewhere.

But its the element of Kinky Bingo I really like....there are two or three 'must haves' and probably the same number of turn offs and finding they all match is enough to raise a smile. :-)

I used to have her fill it out and yes, mucho hard on material . Like : check , oh really , she likes that a lot , then mmmmmmmm , and so on.

Don't know why , but I stopped doing it. Maybe because I am not interested in the act anymore, and more leaning towards the connection during the act?

Figuring out likes and limits may make more sense for somebody just getting into the lifestyle. I haven't been at this myself all that long, and even so I'll get temporarily-enthusiastic newcomers crossing my radar, particularly with younger subs, but its clear they haven't yet really thought enough about what they might be getting into. I care less about what is on the list, more that they are capable of engaging their brain about the decisions they need to make, in order to have a rewarding and safe experience. If they aren't able to do that, I use it as an indication that they probably aren't a match for me. A couple of times, I've had the "you aren't ready for this" conversation. Sometimes all they want is a quick kink fix. Sometimes they have some serious personal challenges. Either way, no thought = not my playmate. That's just my view... I think fetish lists are what you decide to make of them, not so much what their content is.
