Sounds ok in theory but a number of those rights impinge on the rights of others, as you know. e.g. could easily argue that numbers 2, 5, 7 and 8 are not clear cut (excluding the complex issue of abortion): The right to be or work in a public place and not be subject to passive smoke The right to not have your property stolen by someone desperate to feed their drugs habit The right to move about in a city centre free from vomit, mini lakes of urine and threatening drunks The right to be judged by society and not instantly by those carrying guns To have aspirations for what you want your society to be you need to normalise people's rights in forming that society. People shouldn't be ignorant of how the things they do or would want to do affect others around them. The porn issue is far from clear cut either with some currently asking questions such as; how do you want young people to think of themselves, what do you want to be their influences growing up? You've got a battle on your hands if you want to maintain the status quo for any of the things mentioned on that list. All kinds of groups are lobbying hard on issues such as how wearing pink socks encourages violence.
