No. The question should be is this the right Master/Dominant/relationship for you. If you are questioning, probably not.

One can be too submissive for the DOM they are with at the time. Dynamics of the relationship depend on the couple.

In my experience, I find a submissive annoying when she takes her submission upon herself and goes above what I have stated as my expectations of her. By taking her submission beyond my expectations, I feel she if she is doing so to please herself rather than me, since Ive made it clear as to what is required and expected of her, no more no less; like she's subbing for herself. This always leaves a bad taste in my mouth and it turns me off . If she continues to do so after Ive called it to her sttention and the topic has been addressed, I find myself ignoring her attempts as I then feel pressured to dominate her at her command. It's almost as if she is trying to top me from the bottom. I have no patience left at that point, and usually walk away to regroup and keep from approaching her from a negative mindset.

Yes.

A sub, in the middle of a scene, in sub-space, is very absorbed in the moment and may not always be making the most rational decisions.

A Dom's position can be abused in those moments, especially when the relationship is new.

What I'm referring to is an old chestnut that you don't hear as much as you used to: A Dom is not a shrink.

Dom's occasionally uncover dark things. If so, caution should be taken. Such things are not to be played with for amusement.

This is why we preach safe/sane/consensual. You can go too far with anything.

It all depends on what your Dom is like. If you are with a Dom who exploits you to the point that you are abused, damaged, worn out and harms you to the extent that you become ill, depressed and ready to commit suicide, then the answer to your question is yes. If you are with a Dom who understands that you are a precious treasure who needs to be cared for properly in many ways and you are thriving while in his ownership of you, then the answer is no. Good luck with the second one ever happening.
