Your logic makes sense only if she's viewing the cam thing as a "date." Was it presented as one, or did she have adequate reason to believe it was one? Was this something you planned way in advance, or was it a spur of the moment, "Hey, want to talk on cam?"

A lady might have all kinds of reasons for dolling herself up for photos - a significant other, amusement, etc, etc. In my case, it was a modeling shoot. I'm not going to do the same level of makeup for even a first date than I'd do to get in front of professional cameras.

LadyConstanze -> RE: Photoshop (5/13/2012 1:31:58 PM)

You know, there is a difference between going out and getting dressed up because I want to and dressing up for random internet stranger... It's not a date, sorry...

Now if I have the wrong impression about you wanting to whack off, maybe you go back and read your post about your dick shriveling - which impression was that meant to give me?

ryansalone -> RE: Photoshop (5/13/2012 1:32:23 PM)

Let me ask you this. Why do you look like that in your avatar?

I tell you a real surprise, I don't look like I do in the avatar, I am not having a mask on, no makeup, tshirt and shorts and hair a bit wild... I'm not going to get ready to go to a fetish party or a BDSM even, I'm going to get ready to have a swim in the pool.

Why on earth would I go on cam being all dolled up for a stranger? Why on earth would I go on cam at all?

Those women aren't obliged to look like super models or their best, just so you can get your rocks off. As I said, if you really want the "looking fucking freaking unbelievably hot with hair and makeup done" experience, you best get a professional cam girl.

If how a woman looks is so important for your poor shrivelled little dick..I hope you never get hard again.
Shallowness has its own rewards!

Though, to be fair, a woman - or indeed a man - who photoshops her/his image to a major degree might also be accused of shallowness.

I photoshopped mine! not cos IM shallow tho.
winks and schnuggles for you

Because I don't want to flash my face around on the internet on a kink site, I love leather and a friend took that picture and I like it, always had a thing about Catwoman...

No problem saying that right now I look like this, and yes, the T-shirt is 2XL, picked it up at the Dollar Store, great for hanging out by the pool and if the door bell rings I don't have to bother finding shorts, it covers me. Now if I was looking for a guy and that look wasn't good enough for him, he's not getting the dressed up version, I'm not a fetish doll for somebody elses enjoyment...

Well, I changed the contrast on some of mine because I *am* shallow. In fact, I also did lots of exercise in major part because I wanted to look good for the opposite sex. Yes! I am vain! I am superficial!

Jeez, who cares?

This thread has reminded me of that Oscar Wilde quote: "I never trust a woman who tells the truth about her age. It looks so calculating." [;)

Lucylastic -> RE: Photoshop (5/13/2012 1:55:04 PM)

yeah but most love yu for whats inside you!!!
the chesticles are admittedly yummy, but I couldnt really give a damn what you look like.
DO you leave crumbs?

ryansalone -> RE: Photoshop (5/13/2012 1:59:51 PM)

I was being respectful in my own words. I figured calling a female ugly is kinda rude.

LafayetteLady -> RE: Photoshop (5/13/2012 2:04:13 PM)

I know it isn't going to be popular, but I do agree with the OP, to a point.  I don't have a webcam (don't plan on getting one) and don't skype or anything like that.  However, aside from camming for the purpose of getting off, if you agree to cam with someone, just to see each other it is a little like a first date.

I don't think many men or women, dom or sub will schedule a first meeting at a coffee shop with someone and then go looking like crap.  People naturally are going to put their best foot forward when first meeting, and should, whether it be face to face or on cam.

I don't cam for two reasons.  I am not the least bit interested in the whole cam/get off thing, and when I'm sitting around my house, I don't have on makeup, and I'm usually in my PJs, and to me, if I were even to just chat with someone on skype who I was just getting to know, I would want to look my best.  The no-makeup, hair pulled back comes after I get to know someone a bit better.

Fucking hell, but saying she makes your dick shrivel is not? Honestly, you are very much a prime example why women here do not cam...

Trust me I am being VERY polite when I say that I find your attitude so repulsive, that an obese, toothless guy who hasn't washed in this decade would be a lot more attractive than you seem to be. And I would say the same if you'd look like Brad Pitt, your 'tude stinks, dude!

LadyHibiscus -> RE: Photoshop (5/13/2012 2:11:21 PM)

On the other side, there is vidchat. Just folks, doing whatever. If one of my friends called right this second and wanted to skype or whatever, they'd get me, in a casual dress, braided hair, no makeup.

If I was a cam queen, of course I would dress up. Your perminute payment would make that worthwhile.

Years ago some guy wrote me and asked if I had any non-shopped pics. The ONLY thing shopped about the picture was the background colour! Takes all sorts.

ryansalone -> RE: Photoshop (5/13/2012 2:11:47 PM)

Yall make good points. I think its gonna be hard for me to find someone on the internet though. Too much smoke n mirrors.

OK, I met a few people from this site for a coffee, I don't think I wore makeup or was dolled up, short and a tshirt or jeans and a tshirt. I was under the impression they wanted to meet me and we'd sit down and talk, not that they were expecting a fetish doll or a dolled up version.

If not being made up to the gilts is looking like crap for a guy, I'm not even interested in wasting as much time with him as it takes to have a coffee... If they can deal with me without makeup, they're going to be pleasantly surprised how well I scrub up...

FullCircle -> RE: Photoshop (5/13/2012 2:16:03 PM)

Photoshop is the only legal way of sticking a chickens head on a dogs body, I won't hear another bad word said about it.

They is just jealous coz they don't have mad Photoshop skills innit.

That's the same reason I don't cam, because it's my "day off" at god knows what time and I'm just kicking around doing whatever (or looking like a manic dervish). You and I make the choice that when someone knocks on the door we're not going to answer cos we don't want them to see us like this, but that's our vanities. And then there are people who have no problem opening the door like that; but again, that's not the same as setting up a coffee date or making deliberate plans to meet someone, as you're saying. Certainly if it was set up that they will cam on x date at x time then it would be a "first date" scenario, but OP is referring to spontaneous cam sessions and it really brings to question someone's state of mind when they'd get all dolled up to hangout at a chatroom if it's not their job...

Sweetie, you're confusing the real women with the Camgirls and ProDommes lol

"Real" Domme women get dressed and dolled up for themselves, not for you. They don't give a toss if you are no longer interested in continuing an interaction with them after seeing them with wild hair and no make-up, the kind of guy who minds that is not the kind of guy a strong woman really cares to have any sort of relationship with.

Camgirls and ProDommes, on the other hand, make their livings getting dressed and dolled up for you.

This is not true in My case. But I can understand where he is coming from, I think he just worded it wrong in his original post. However, I don't think there is anything wrong with fixing a few blemishes.

By the way, My avi is how I look right now, plain shirt, make up and a bow. Ah and LadyConstanze, you look hot even in a t shirt!!!!
