truckinslave -> RE: More from the Birther front (5/19/2012 5:37:00 AM)

Isn't that what you said when he posted the first alleged birth certificate?

Lucylastic -> RE: More from the Birther front (5/19/2012 5:43:43 AM)

yeah maybe , you tell me, but ... you proved my point even all these years later.

truckinslave -> RE: More from the Birther front (5/19/2012 1:42:48 PM)

ppearse -> RE: More from the Birther front (5/19/2012 1:56:39 PM)

At least one (McCain), who had to overcome a challenge to his own eligibility due to having been born in the Panama Canal Zone. How many former presidents, white or otherwise, published a biography claiming to have been born in Kenya?

Had you been keeping up, you would know that:
The publisher retracted that statement.
That the president never made it.
Btw:
Whose little sock puppet are you?

Moonhead -> RE: More from the Birther front (5/19/2012 3:51:48 PM)

Maybe it's a typo for bpearse and he's working for Gerry Adams?

Breitbart News has obtained a promotional booklet produced in 1991 by Barack Obama's then-literary agency, Acton & Dystel, which touts Obama as "born in Kenya and raised in Indonesia and Hawaii."

The booklet, which was distributed to "business colleagues" in the publishing industry, includes a brief biography of Obama among the biographies of eighty-nine other authors represented by Acton & Dystel.

Guess they really really got that wrong.

This birther Dopery isn't even entertaining let alone worth discussion. Excepting of course among the irrecoverably dumb.
I'm not even a tad impressed.
But that's how your posts are trending anyway.
Best of luck in your search for clues.

Link

The AP reporter stated the following:

Kenyan-born US Senate hopeful, Barrack Obama, appeared set to take over the Illinois Senate seat after his main rival, Jack Ryan, dropped out of the race on Friday night amid a furor over lurid sex club allegations.

This report explains the context of the oft cited debate, between Obama and Keyes in the following Fall, in which Keyes faulted Obama for not being a “natural born citizen”, and in which Obama, by his quick retort, “So what? I am running for Illinois Senator, not the presidency”, self-admitted that he was not eligible for the office. Seeing that an AP reporter is too professional to submit a story which was not based on confirmed sources (ostensibly the Obama campaign in this case), the inference seems inescapable: Obama himself was putting out in 2004, that he was born in Kenya.

Could you present that AP article from the AP archive and not the website of the East African Standard?

To all birthers, what is your explanation for the 2 seperate newspaper birth announcements. Take into account the undeniable fact that both papers only source for these announcements was the local hospital maternity wards.

No, just their useful idiots are.
Ever consider the actual value of a republican weighing in on this issue is?

Hawaii Revised Statutes
§338-17.8 Certificates for children born out of State:
(a) Upon application of an adult or the legal parents of a minor child, the director of health shall issue a birth certificate for such adult or minor, provided that proof has been submitted to the director of health that the legal parents of such individual while living without the Territory or State of Hawaii had declared the Territory or State of Hawaii as their legal residence for at least one year immediately preceding the birth or adoption of such child.
(b) Proof of legal residency shall be submitted to the director of health in any manner that the director shall deem appropriate. The director of health may also adopt any rules pursuant to chapter 91 that he or she may deem necessary or proper to prevent fraudulent applications for birth certificates and to require any further information or proof of events necessary for completion of a birth certificate.

Hawaii Law's a bitch also, ain't it. :-)

Aside from the black guy how many other presidents have you demanded produce their birth certificate?

None. The mulato is the only POTUS in history (that I'm aware of) to make a big deal of the fact that his father's British nationality and Kenyan citizenship conveyed to him at birth, thus making him a dual-citizen at birth at best (assuming he was in fact born in Hawaii) and, therefore, not a "natural born citizen" as required by the U.S. Constitution and defined as "born in the county to citizen parents of the country" by the only U.S. Supreme Court ruling which defined the term "natural born citizen" -- Minor v Happersett.

How many other presidents could have a ligitimate birth certificate from a state they were not in fact born in?

Yeah Yeah Yeah... say it don't spray it.

I am sure your Breitbart 'document experts' fully vetted it. Which explains their subsequent repudiation.

You know how much impact this one had... We're already in the 'nobody fucking cares' stage.

Don't those fucking idiots realize how much they actually hurt the Republicans?

I have begun to believe that they are stupid enough to believe that if they say they have nothing to do with it, people outside the republican party will believe somebody else. like rebelling democrats introduced it to the dialogue.
They think that we'll really believe that a failed real estate agent turned lawyer (failed at that too), turned Dentist (must've failed that too... Seriously, the order isn't important) just came up with it INDEPENDENTLY OF THE REPUBLICAN PARTY.

Nah, republicans have nothing to do with the birther issue.

a)John McCain's citizenship was never challenged by anyone. Don't be absurd.

b)"How many former presidents, white or otherwise, published a biography claiming to have been born in Kenya?" The answer is STILL none. NONE THEN, NONE NOW.

Which begs the questions of where she got the fact that she didn't correct.. and why, btw, it wasn;\'t corrected until 2007.

Once again you are being obtuse. The cite was posted. Yet you choose not to accept what it says. If you wish to question the person who posted it and then made a public correction perhaps you should talk to that person as no one here is personally acquainted with her. But then you knew that and choose instead to whine about why we wont collectively hold your hand while you jack off.
